So I have a little sister, and she cries sometimes at things. Most of the time when she cries, I would feel sadness, its weird but I would feel it, then I would go back to my normal self. Usually I'm very sensitive but I thought that was strange, I get mad but then I feel sad.. Its hard to explain.

Is that normal?

I think so, if you are a person of empathy.
I`ve had it all my life, to the point I sometimes did not know WHOSE emotions I was feeling, my own or someone else`s.

Also sometimes when someone talks about physical pain, I cringe, cause I can feel it inside of me, like something contracting inside, a goosebump from the inner side, instead ON my skin.

I guess that is my Neptune on the ASC doing.

are you an empath? it's very common. people who tend to feel other people's feeling. meditation with angels helps keep your aura protected from taking other's emotions.

Thank you both, ive been told that I'm an empath, but I don't have the full qualities of it. I can sometimes feel my sister sadness then it goes away very suddenly, I dont know why.

And ceridwen, wow never thought you could feel like that. That must be scary.

Hmm, scary? No, not really. I guess it`s just that I´ve always been like that, so I dont know the difference.
But yes, sometimes it all gets a bit much; I think I am most sensitive to energies though.
I remember when iw as in London the first time on my own, and all those different energies were rushing at me, I just wanted to stand in a corner, cover my ears and scream.

However it quickly got better, especially when I just flowed with it, and to be honest whenever I am in London now after that, I just feel so carried on these energies, it is amazing.

I guess the secret is to let it all flow through oneselve, not trying to hinder the flow, not trying to make it stuck or manipulate it.

Yep, I don't think it's too hard being an empath. It gets better with age. But it does mean you really need to be careful about your romantic partner though.

Everyone is capable of being an empath, it's really being aware of the subtle energies around you. You read energy, it's normal. You feel your sis emotions because there is a chord between you two, this is quite common with family members. I have that with my mom, she 'knows' when I'm in danger, sad, etc (invasion of privacy much lol)

I sense emotion too especially with my romantic partners (sex creates a huge energetic bond ) I remember being separated from my ex, no talking, distanced physically and not seeing each other for months but I could feel all of the emotions, the sadness, the anger, his thoughts. It was bad because he was an addict & quite destructive and it got to a point where I really had to protect myself energetically because physically was gone but energetically its like he was glued to me and I was absorbing everything.

As an empath, feel what you feel but do not hold on to other people's emotions. Feel it and let it go.
