If you post the charts, people can have a look, but just from a quick glance at your birth year and this situation, it's your Saturn Return!!! What house does your Saturn fall into?A lot of people leave long-term relationships that they feel they have outgrown during the Saturn return. During mine, I left a long term relationship and made huge career changes. It was very freeing.
I would urge you to be mature enough to understand that this is about YOU--you needing new, deep experiences to free yourself and live your most authentic life, from your heart. It is not about this new guy and your feelings of limerance (not love!) for him.
This older guy is needy enough to be talking about love after a few weeks of sexual and romantic tension, and sleazy and immoral enough to be talking about it with someone's loyal, faithful girlfriend of nine years--but even if he were the best guy in the world and would go on to be the big love of your life, PLEASE honor your Pisces partner's humanity by not lying to him or cheating on him. You are already having an emotional affair, which causes intense and unforgettable pain to
Don't make your need for love and emotional growth be about your limerance and infatuation with this Cancer guy. You don't know him very well,
Talk with your Pisces in a kind and mature way. End the relationship in a kind way, while still being faithful emotionally, physically, sexually. Give yourself three or four months single, processing all the complicated and deep issues that brought you to this point--and after you've been on your own for that long, honoring your relationship's end and sparing your faithful Pisces the pain of being jilted for some other guy, you can start dating the Cancer and seeing how your relationship evolves as a real relationship, without the exciting tension of limerance.
Exit affairs--which you are having--are when someone doesn't have the courage to end their relationship in a kind and respectful way, the courage to be on their own for even a few months after a multi-YEAR relationship and look at themselves.....you haven't crossed lines yet that would cause your Pisces real pain, so keep it that way.
People who move in on other people's partners are not good relationship prospects for more than a quick fling in the early months when the sexual tension, fantasies and projections are high.
Ending a long-term relationship is a good opportunity to take some downtime to understand yourself and work on growing into the most compassionate, happy and loving person you can be.
