From this I'm getting that you might have been cut out to fit well together. One of you (him?) has perhaps been disillusioned about love, so at this moment you are trying each other on for size, testing the boundaries, perhaps refusing to yield to each other for fear of losing the upper hand. I say even though there seem to be potential, this resistance is making it impossible to manifest, stifling the possibility of unconditional love that's sweet and fulfilling.

I don't think you're the one who should yield for this to happen, you should both yield. And I am not saying you absolutelt must yield to each other, just saying what could happen if you do, the outcome depends on him as much as on you. I say you're quite a match, both proud, with a sense of self-worth and a strong sense of Self, both determined, both powerful in some way or another

Starting with what you mention, I do feel that we are cut out of the same cloth,IE soulmates.

And yes he is disillusioned about love when we first met 6 years ago. I don't know about now though but things with him haven't changed much.

It's as you said, he's refusing to yeild to the love and in turn so am I. But I could just be wishful thinking.

If anything else makes sense I will update you!
