At first you'll be in delusion as if you won't know which way to tread on. There will be initial sense of confusion as if you won't know which way to walk on with your emotions. With the 7 of Swords you might have to do something stealthily, i.e. you might want to hide something from your family and friends in order to get your way. It might not be necessarily wrong because followed by the 6 of Wands it seems you'll ultimately find your way ahead.

There will a sense of warmth and victory like you'll find a new lifestyle and be away from the things that hurt you or bored you, or things in which you were interested in but couldn't indulge for some reason.

It is not entirely wrong, but it is true with a twist.

First of all it`s a 9-card, all 9 cards picture you alone, there is noone there YET. It is the last stage before fulfillment, when you ANTICIPATE the happiness that is too come (and most likely will, but not guaranteed), and that positive attitude is really what makes you feel the inner contentment that might bring you closer to your desired goal.
But it is not there yet, you still have that last step to go.

Cups are filled and waiting and from their number we can surmise that this is a person who is popular, and beloved. Like all the nines, we see him at a moment just before others arrive, and in that moment, he is contemplating his blessings, all the friends and family he has, and he is so content and delighted, and so anticipatory of the fun evening he's going to have with all those friends...he's positively smug.

That, in terms of what you're asking, is Person A stepping back from Person B for just a moment and thinking "I have been granted my dearest wish! I have the love and friendship of Person B and I could not be happier! I'm so happy, I'm positively smug about it! And I am going to make the most of it this." Putting it another way, Person A can't wait till Person B arrives so that they can party all night long. "

The reason I don't really trusted this card til now is because the majority of tarot explanations say that this is the wish card, a wish coming true. But with this explanation I provided us, it's more like enjoying what u think about the wish. So, as u said already, the wish may or may not happen.
