The Devil and Tower fell out while I shuffled.

The 10 of cups was upright while I layed out the cards

Main spread;

3 of pents, the hierophant, 8 of wands, ace of wands, queen of pents

clarified by; ace of pents, 6 of swords, two of pents

I think the spread suggests there is a "re-structuring" going on so to speak. The 10 suggests to me an emotional cycle is ending, the shackles in the devil card are being broken and the tower is crumbling to make way for a new one to be built. I think in the recent past there was perhaps a learning or thinking of what the right thing to do is. Right now things are maybe feeling a bit up in the air, but things are soon going to be moving into calmer waters. There seems to be a new energy, a renewal of sorts, I think things will be more grounded. I do think there will be more interaction between you.

The cards say things have been/are changing, but not in a bad way. It looks like things will feel more grounded.

You seem to have left a strong impression. He might have felt as if meeting you was a lifechanging moment to him, or at least it touched him very deeply, maybe even leading to some form of transition/ transformation.
With the 3 of wands he might be looking out for you hoping to see you again and also feel the start of passionate feelings about you, and it couldnīt get any more romantic and passionate than the Knight of Cups.

So far I think that you will (want to) interact with P (or vice versa) more than before and it does seem that this communication will bring you manifestation of your wishes, prosperity on some level. There is a small warning that you will be tested (test of faith) due to your altered mind-set; I suppose circumstances will test you on whether you can stick to your new altered mind-set or will you ‘fall back to the old mind-set’. At the end with Queen of Pentacles I believe that you will stay grounded and will stick to your new way of thinking and this will bring you needed feeling of security.

Could it be that he has very much to do with work-things and that writing you emails is different and longer than the usual tidbits on facebook?

Alternatively maybe he also juggles thoughts about your friendship and trying to come to a conclusion and decision about which direction this is going to take?

The page is so young, and you said you have known each other for a time, so that makes me feel as if maybe his feelings for you have changed and there is a deeper admiration, but he does not yet know how to handle this?
