Ask whatever you may like...but I'm just wondering about work. Will I get the position I want for Fridays and Saturdays? Will I be able to find a second job by the end of November? (I may have more)

1- Fridays and Saturdays?2 of wands / 3 of swords / 6 of coins No, you won't get Fridays and Saturdays- but there will be a bargaining going on and you'll get Sundays and another day? 3 of swords is a no, but the 6 of coins is striking a balance, so it feels like some other shifts will open up. 2- End of November? King of swords / 5 of swords / 10 of cups Seems like a bit of a struggle for November. Perhaps starting in the first week of December. You will have a lead early November, but start in December. World- Queen of Rods- 9 of Rods Well its either a no or there is more interviewing that needs to happen. Or you turn it down for some reason. Not sure if this Queen is you or someone else, a hiring manager perhaps. I currently work Saturdays but I was hoping for a different position, so I don't think that I'll lose that day but I'm not sure what else will open up. Can you ask why it doesn't look like I'll be getting the position I want? Is there anything I can do?

There is more which needs to happen, but that's for them to take care of. It doesn't include another interview, but more about compliance to current regulations in place and if I can be hired. It's a complicated thing, and thank you for the pull. Hmm, with yours I just think that you will need to make a sympathetic case for them to consider. It's the charity card which was pulled in the future position. Tell the manager/person in charge that you really need this for x reason(s) (which invokes sympathy) and you should be able to get what you want.

Well I do need need it, so it wouldn't be a lie. Ive also been there for a long time so there's loyalty too. You reminded me of the 6 of pentacles from the Shadowscape deck (which I just bought) in it the illustrations is described as someone being generous by watering a tree/brush but the person doing the watering is actually sitting on the tree so who is supporting whom? Now that you mentioned a longer process it makes a bit more sense. Maybe its just a bump in the road, a stop of some sort. My initial thought was a delay of some sort. Is the decision made by more than one person? Maybe they have to also decide if you're a right fit..

It's definitely a delay with the reg. compliance. The law where I'm at isn't very developed and doesn't cover what I do. I hope this is just a minor hiccup as I really want it. As for being a right fit, I don't see that being an issue as I've worked with the team before and they asked me to interview with them. Idk, maybe my optimism is misplaced. The decision is made by one person (consulting 2 others- but they aren't heads). Perhaps you could ask the cards if those who interviewed me thought I was a right fit? 6 of pentacles (my deck is the legacy of the divine tarot) doesn't show who, just green hands vs. normal hands accepting. I would like to say management have the upper hand here, and not you- but that could be wrong. IP: Logged |

Well I'm still wondering as to why the answer wasn't 'yes' right off the bat when I asked about it. I'm a senior employee and even others where surprised that they were willing to give the position to someone new. Now I'm thinking...am I just better off trying to find a different place to work those days? Will money be better? Opportunity etc?

9 of coins / queen of wands / 5 of wandsFinancially, I don't think you'd be better off if you look for a new position- there will be opportunity, but pay and benefits will be less. You'd be valued at any place you work at, but I think the overriding factor for you is pay. IP: Logged |

My management's management could have the upper hand and find my weight to be an issue. I know one manager does. Not sure about the owner. So you got an intense little spread here lol
10 of cups-death-Fool Could be they love you to death and cant wait to go on a journey with you. The spread feels happy despite the Death card, but I still get this nagging feeling like there's someone or something putting a hold here..it could be the law thing you mentioned.

Bleh. I have a love/hate relationship with the bar I'm at now. I'm sure other places will have more money flow but I do have the benefits of being able to go on vacation when I please, to come in late or call out. I also know that bars like pretty girls and having gained 50lbs is not pretty. So those benefits, I know I wont get elsewhere. There are no real benefits like a 401k or health, but getting to go on a 3-4 week vacation without a problem is rare. IP: Logged |

Love me to death would be a nice one to have.. lol. I have worked with the team before, and they encouraged me to apply when I moved back here. Thank you for the exchange- I need to go now to deal with family who just came over. I can continue, but in a couple of hours. IP: Logged |
