does anyone else ever get worried about the karmic implications of doing readings? I get so worried that I would lead someone astray, that their trust would be placed in me only to have me misguide them. I know for sure that I am not all knowing and that my readings are only guesses at best and that if they are right then I feel great, but sheesh sometimes I really get nervous if I have misguided anyone..sometimes I think it is hard for me not to get my ego involved and to not want to give an answer that will be perceived as being right IP: Logged |

I was JUST thinking about this after doing a reading on fiverr, I thought wow what if they do everything just because of a reading I do. But I try to write that its their life and THEY deal with consequences so not to take all my words as something to follow 100%.I think this is why psychics advertise under fun or something like this and put disclaimers. ultimatley YES I do like to get readings as a small guide but I always go by my gut even if its "against" a reading. I do what my heart tells me to do and listen to my own gut the most.

most people, including me, react to the readings at first, but ultimately they do whatever they had decided to do already.IP: Logged |

Hi Blyss, What is good is that most people here get more readings than one on the same question. That is a safety measure and no one person should feel responsible for misdirecting another. You, in fact, being intuitive, are in a stronger position than someone like me who depends solely on cards and hope the interpretations are accurate. I believe, the responsibility to listen to the cards doesn't lie with the reader and it is often best to remind the person that they must, above all, follow their own intuition. IP: Logged |
