Are they someone from your past? Anyhow I very often get the king of wands of a person has been lurking in someone's social media accounts. I feel like this person has or is observing you and it made them think about their past or perhaps a past with you? Something they may have noticed about your account made them not want to accept your request because they worry it will lead to an issue on their life. Its not a matter of thinking they are too good but overthinking their actions and not yet wanting to show their life in that way. i get them still wanting to hide some aspects and worry how you might perseve things you could see on their profile so this is why they havent yet responded to your request. I do get later they will.
