I think this will be on its way to a serious relationship leading to marriage. You two are kindred spirits and feel like family around each other. However, it will feel like a cage going forward- he isn't going to be abusive or anything like that, but marriage feels like the only step ahead and you will feel like you won't be able to do anything else. I don't think this is the 'butterflies in your stomach' love, but more of a 'I'm your best friend and you're mine, let's get married' type of relationship. It won't evoke fireworks for you.
