- I have already asked some stuff about SS before for those of you who did readings for me. The whole fling has ended. I am not gonna ask if he will write to me or whatever. I am just looking for some answers... I still cannot understand why he stopped talking to me even though everything was great. We met twice, everything was great but also confusing. So I just want to know why he stopped talking to me after our last date in July and after seeing each other shortly in a concert on October.

- My professor has recently talked about a new PhD position with me although nothing's clear yet. How high are the chances that I will be involved as a PhD student in that project? Should I get my hopes up or not?

Q1: Now this is an interesting spread given the question:
King of pentacles, Chariot, Lovers, clarified by 7 of wands, hanged man

Chariot after KoP seem to indicate that It might be something that was just handed to him and he felt insecure about being in control. There were often mixed feelings, an unease about the change inherent in this transformation which made him lose touch with seeing the possibilities - further indicated by the lovers card. He basically couldn't handle it and became kind of mired in his unease. Regardless, the problems are his. The lovers card is also pointing out to you to relflect on what you want - is it him and his self-involvement?

My qs: a few related to the same issue - why is J back in my life, i.e., what am i supposed to learn from this? I have changed since we parted company many months ago - has he? How would are relationship progress if we got back together?

First deck was Lenormand. I used 3 cards to be able to read them easily.

Mountain was first, that means a blockage or an obstacle in someone's life, or may be it's just between you two that has to be climbed over. This card can avoiding the problems that come up, but it will be quite tough to get through it. The Fish card was next, since it was after the mountain, either the fish means emotions, like there is a blockage regarding there emotions, something that they have to overcome. If not that, then it can also mean because of the mountain in front of the fish, if the mountain wasn't there, there wouldn't be much problem of having a smooth connection. But the mountain still speaks on having a problem that is coming up and you have to try to get over that obstacle. The last card Garden, I can't speak too much of as may be it means public or being open to other people.

So with Lenormand, he probably does have some type of problem.. could be emotionally or something else.

The second deck is The Faerytale Oracle.

First card was Water & Salt (Truth), this is about opening your eyes and seeing the real truth. It can mean being honest with yourself and realizing what type of situation that you're in or needing to tell others the full truth. So I do know that this is about being honest.
The second card is Bluebeard (Taboos).. hmm this is a little weird, this would mean something that is not really supported or something that is not good when it comes to other people opinions. It's hard to explain, but I think you do know the word Taboo, where you do something that other people don't seem to like in a way, and it's different. Could be restricted or forbidden?
Last card is The Snow Queen (Loyalty), well this would mean being loyal and faithful and doing what you think is right.

I am uncertain if the cards I pulled made sense.

Both of the readings make sense somehow.. Yes, there are lots of obstacles and even an ex-gf involved. But I think the mountain also ‘physically’ symbolizes the area in which he lives. There are lots of mountains there. That’s what came to my mind.. And we live far away from each other.. :/
The ‘taboo’ also makes sense... Because he was still living with his ex-gf when we had the fling so I think in his head, what we had was some kinda forbidden fling. He didn’t want to be seen with me or at least I kinda sensed it from his behaviour..
I don’t know if he wanted to have more with me... He never showed it somehow. Our connection kinda faded away after our 2nd date :/ So I am guessing he didn’t...

The first reading makes more sense though... not only in a spiritual sense but also physically.. Like mountain and all that... Thanks.

Ah... Lovers again Yes, we did have the sexual connection indeed... I don’t know if he has felt guilty... but since there was an ex-gf involved, maybe 7 of swords indicated some sort of cheating/lying?
