Not sure if this is happening now or next year but one of you doesn't want the relationship until they take some time out to think about things. Only when the other person feels like they are being treated fair and there's a healthy balance between the two of you then there can be a commitment. I can only say maybe for now.

Wow all those swords pointing toward much needed communication and also J being very stubborn.
I think you will have to give a nudge to encourage this conversation and when you do it will be seven days from then.

I know swords indicate weeks but I usually read as days.
