Ok i think the outcome is that you do become friends but there seems to be some delays. Then delays end and we move on from the pain and then there is a choice.

So i think some delay in communicating, maybe takes him a little while to respond but then yes i think you will be friends in the end.

Let me know how that goes i might be wrong but its what the cards say to me.

Mine - how will next week go for me?

Between you and him there is an attraction and this will be developing.
I get a sense of him liking you quite a bit but also waiting to see how you feel to make any further moves.
Sometimes he shuts down or is less open due to past experience so know its not related to you.
I do get a sense of progression and later even possible relationship. He likes to take things in a light manner with not much rush so you will see progress yet it may stand at same pace for a bit of time and then move more forward. So I get a continuing here and him being more and more into you.

Beginning of the week starts at full blast. Whatever you're working on, you will need to be in it a 100%. Emotions surrounding mid-week seems to be one of frustration- people not doing as they are told and that costing you time or money or both. 6 of swords signifies you traveling over water to reach a certain destination- this could be just a trip to the sea to get your mind off things, or to the countryside to reconnect with nature. It will not be a bad week- in fact, far from it. I think at the end of it, you will feel accomplished, but a bit drained.

It looks like he really needs to intelectualize that the cord is cut for real this time (even if, on your side, that's not your wish). I think while he still feels your energy coming forward in a way, he will stand back... Because in the back of his mind, he feels that eventually you will come in contact and his ego wishes to be chased for that. He likes to see you wanting his attention, but that won't make it easier for him to come around, in other words - if that makes sense. Right now he's not talking not because he doesn't want to... It's because he wants to cause an impact and give you that idea that he is okay with the distance. He actually needs to feel that from you, to make the reaching out process more quick, I guess.
