i know some don't do that just for principle and it think that's right and normally i don't either but pls it's an exception

i am a bit worried about a couple i am friends with. They seem to be madly in love, at least i know she is and he claims she is the one.

So you're right that the man is actually very uncertain of his future with your friend and that she is a lot more invested in him. I wouldn't say he has a mistress but he's shown as being friendly with some women and as it goes along there is one that he is particularly flirty with. The final cards two of pents with two of cups, he recognizes the connection he has with your friend but is very 50/50 about putting solid plans for the future.

Judgement and Emperor could mean opposing things - a painful and hard decision or complete success. The other cards - Star and 10 of cups - say that his feelings are very positive. Judgment followed by Emperor can also mean the emperor has changed his ways and is beginning to see, behave, etc. in a new way. Star indicates idealistic love and hope. So, maybe he had some catching up to do. However, the cards are positive.

-> yes, X will. However, in my experiences the temperance is a slow card. It might happen that it will take a lot longer than you migh expect. But the ace of wands is a strong yes card in my spreads and show a new start.
