Hi moon.
He wanted to spite someone and show off. He wasnt being totally honest but its more like he hoped to get a reaction and he might do something more if he doesnt get a reaction he hoped for. He is being childish Im getting. Not acting out of his true self.

@intuitivefish, thanks. I also felt a certain childish vibe in the air. Could it be me ? I mean, the reason why he have done that, and wants to spite and show off a fake engagement ? Since it doesnt show a name and he didn't post a picture with his supposed fiancée, I couldnt help to think it was strange, and a lie.

He finds ways though and hopes you see it or someone tells you. He really wants to see you react and its desperate.

Yep, I agree. It would give him much power by reacting. I can't lose my dignity anymore. We've one common friend, he probably thought that she could tell me, in case I didnt see it by myself.
