I'm pretty new to Tarot but I really want to learn to do more accurate readings, so I thought I'd create a practice thread.

Ask anything you like and I'll try to answer your questions. It could be questions that is unknown to you but also about situations that have an answer so you can confirm or rebut my reading. Preferably not yes/no questions.

Thank you for volunteering! I'll try not to quote in this thread if people want to edit their asks. I did a reversed pyramid spread for you and got:
Four of Cups/King of Cups(R)/Moon
Eight of Pentacles/Eight of Wands(R)
Ace of Cups(R)

What I got from this spread, without knowing who M is, is that M is withholding emotions and communication in some way. You base a lot of this attachment on an intuitive feeling you have for M. Something isn't quite clear in the relationship between you guys, you aren't communicating efficiently which creates attachment, because you think about M a lot - what M feels and so on but aren't actually getting answers to these questions. I feel like you are working hard emotionally for this connection but aren't receiving as much back as you'd like, which creates an imbalance in some way. You don't feel entirely seen by M. You wish that he'd acknowledge the emotional work you put into your interactions.

Am I onto something or am I just blabbering?

I feel like maybe at one point he gave you a lot of emotional support and attention but then withdrew this attention in some way. You're holding onto the memories of M as M used to be and what M used to mean to you.

Was it a terrible reading?

I made a five card spread for you and got

World(R)/Eight of Pentacles(R)/Page of Cups(R)
Death(R)/Devil

Clearly you're feeling that you're not getting enough growth opportunities at your current workplace. That you're not receiving the praise you deserve or the salary you'd like. World and Eight of Pentacles in reverse that is.

You also have Death in reverse, which upright could point to you quitting your job, but since it's (R) you're just feeling dissatisfied without really knowing what to do about your situation. I read Devil with Death in the sense that you really have to think before you act in this question: Will any rash moves lead to the right outcome for you?

It could also be that you're exaggerating your dissatisfaction and that you could turn this situation around by having a more positive outlook.

I had to look up the Page of Cups reversed for work-related issues and got: "When the Page of Cups appears in reverse, it shows that you are basically appreciated in your work. However, you need to be careful not to "thumb your nose" too often or too vigorously at the powers that be - even if you work for yourself. If you aren't sure what's happening, or why you keep getting into problems, ask for advice from a trusted, experienced friend or family member."

I did a five card spread for what you have to do before finding new love, but in the end five more cards popped up and I read those as a possible future outcome.

Nine of Pentalces(R)/Six of Swords/Ten of Pentacles
Hierophant/Four of Pentacles

Sooo, this is what I believe you have to do before finding new love: PRACTICE SELF LOVE. Your self-confidence isn't as high as it could be (Nine of Pentalces(R)). You're not feeling entirely at peace with yourself or with your self-image and maybe even where you're at in your career. You need to leave all those thoughts behind and establish a life for yourself (Ten of Pentacles and Hierophant). You have to open up more to others too. Dare to put yourself out there. The Six of Pentacles could also speak about travel. So, why not go on a trip? You don't have to go very far. It could also be that you have to leave something in your past behind you.

The five cards that popped out were: Judgment(R)/Knight of Cups(R), Seven of Wands(R), Star(R) and Lovers.

This could be a possible future. Prince charming is coming. But he's coming slowly. Yet you can't expect him to just come sweep you off your feet, you have to take steps towards him too. Fight for him.

Some of these (R) cards I'll provide internet sources for, because I think they seem fitting to the theme, sooo, Star in reverse: "When reversed, the Star still bodes very well for love relationships, especially existing love relationships. What does your crush do for a living: Temperance/Six of Swords(R)/Eight of Swords/Page of Pentacles

I need to brainstorm big time for this one. Ummm. He could either be in between jobs, moving from one career to another. Perhaps, some sort of social worker or struggling artist - nooo, it's not something creative or ... nope. More like service oriented? I felt like Temperance with Eight of Swords could be like, helping others working through their issues. Therapist. Fixing broken things. Finances? Or answering the phone, with all those swords haha. This one was tricky as heck. I'm not sure!

About the month of February I got: Wheel of Fortune/Seven of Swords/Knight of Pentacles(R)

There could be a minor upheaval. I don't think it's something major. It could have to do with money. It could be this random like moral issue coming up on the horizon. Why do I get "shoplifting". Not that I think that you would shoplift, but you know, something minor like that, which causes a slight stir but disappears as quick as it arose.

I did a reading only for February because I don't think we should peek too far into the future, because that will only make us disappointed. Better to focus on short-term questions.

Actually, from this spread I get that you will mainly be focusing on yourself and work/studies this February. But you're definitely looking I believe, if you're not already in a relationship. I think the Magician isn't so much an outside force as yourself. Are you internet dating? I think you're on the outlook for someone and you're trying really hard, but you're getting a little overwhelmed: When will prince charming come???? Maybe you're even trying too hard. I'm not sure. Or MAYBE you're not trying hard enough and are just sitting around waiting for prince charming (page of pents in this deck) and you're a bit ****** off at the universe for not sending him in your way.

Or it could be that you're dating and you're meeting all these people (online or irl) but no one really seems to be a good fit.

the unknown one would be, do u see melosing weight this year? losing it with starting a sport (boxing) and going to a nutritionist. I mean, the question itself would be if Ill be able to do those 2 things, nutritionist + boxing, and as a consequence lose weight.

So, hmm. Is this a relationship or a connection that has been going on for awhile? Because this spread is kinda signaling some exhaustion. Maybe you've been back and forth and yeah, something's a little ... not burdensome, but it's like maybe you're currently a little tired of each other? Some minor disagreements.

Do you identify with either Queen of Wands or Queen of Swords? At first I thought Queen of Wands would be someone else, but that's because I often read her that way in my own spreads because I identify with QoC. But actually no. This is you, I think. Are you being a bit bossy with him, or have you been in the past? Even a bit nagging? I pulled another clarifier and got Three of Cups. I wouldn't necessarily read this that he's meeting other girls, BUT I sense that he has a need of having fun right now. He wants to party and meet friends and have a good time. We met in December and were nicely progressing until work piled up for him in mid-late January. Before it did, he talked to me about his schedule is so draining sometimes it gets to him.
