From first glance, it seems that M feels very lucky to have you in his life. I'm seeing that he tends to be a bit dumbstruck around you, like he knows what to say to you until he's around you, then kind of forgets everything. Beats himself up over it too. He feels that you are a very talented person and good at what you do.

"Half the story." There is this theme of vulnerability when he is around you. I don't know if it's because he feels like he has to be protective of self because he was in a bad relationship, or this was something that he's grown with as a person. When he is around you, he is reminded of this vulnerability. I think it is because you exude such a confidence about you that he feels that he is less is some way. There was this scene in Pride and Prejudice( the one with Kiera Knightley) where they are dancing at the party and everyone else in the room disappears. This scene keeps coming into my head when I look at Balance in the South position. I feel that M regards you in this same manner: a hidden admiration. He is on eggshells around you, not because of you, but because he fears slipping up around you and looking like a fool.

In the East (vulnerability, past foolish decisions) and West (suffering, not being able to voice that pain) positions, it speaks of a shying away from these feelings. Being afraid to act on them because of being wrapped up in past decisions one regrets. However, I feel that with more time and effort to communicate, this can rehabilitate relations and help M open up more.
