Hi!

I have Angel cards so I can trade a reading, however Im very much a novice, But Il do my best!

My company is laying off people, First they have offered a pretty generous package to employees over 15 yrs of service
If they volunteer for a lay off.

Im trying to decide if I should take the package, If I do I get a a nice severance.

If I don't either one of these will happen, no way of knowing which one.
1. I get laid off anyways, with a small severance package

2. I don't get laid off at all, still have a job, but all the work load probably triples

Im trying to decide if I take the money and leave (no job)
Getting back on the jo market.

, or stay and take my chance

Im torn, either way is risky! Im so scared!

I don't really have reading skills but I'd say go for the change... ^_^
Really, you're gonna do fine and who knows, maybe now you have room to make for your dreams?!
Unless your current job is totally awesome, in which case I'd say try to keep it. The way I see it is either change or no change, bigger severance pay or not, and it looks like you don't have much say in the matter anyway, so why not take the chance and run?

I got laid off in January and it was scary for a second but I landed on my feet, and I hardly have any career experience anyway. So if I can do it...
Oh and I also THOUGHT I loved my job, but in reality it was bad for me and going nowhere.. and I've learned so many cool new things at my new job that I never would have learned if I stayed there..

So I pulled one tarot card with the question, "Should Lioness take the severance pay and leave?"
And got the Knight of Pentacles..
I think you should take it and run Haha

Going with my gut, I would say take the package but first I would constantly be searching for a job . ( while still there and before I took the package, like wait it out as long as possible so that you can find another job in the meantime )

I have a feeling that it is not going to take you long to find something suited for you although you might not enjoy the job at first.

Sorry this is late. I decided to draw a card and got the exact same card as Selenite.

I think if staying there will be much more work for you. I think Selenite's advice is what I would be going with - for what it's worth.

Good luck in either case though.
