Hi. It sounds like you already know what to do but need a gentle push. If you post your natal, I will list everything that I think supports your singing idea.

I'm no harmonic expert therefore I will stick to your natal chart.

Let me start with: WOW. It's no wonder you feel drawn to singing with all these personal planets in the 2nd house. And I can believe you have the potential. The MC in Libra with the ruler there is a biggie indeed. I'd also note:
Venus conjunct the luminaries
2nd house ruler in Taurus (too bad it's not in the 5th)
NN in Pisces
6th house ruler in the 2nd house
Uranus conjunct MC (because it rules the sign intercepted in the 2nd)

I think you have a good chance of getting gigs if you go for it. Good luck

I think my insecure nature (a Sun in detriment) has built much fear.

Yes, it's said to be in detriment but I don't consider the Sun in Aquarius to be weak. I'd sooner link your insecurity to your ASC ruler Jupiter opposite Saturn.

quote:
So sad people can destroy dreams of others.

It's even sadder when it's the people one would expect to do the opposite. Anyway, it smells like your Saturn in the 4th house...

quote:
I know, that 5th is frustrating. Never had children either. I do have Aura, Hathor (compared to Venus), Glo, Iris, Charis, & Almach (Venusian artistic fixed star), in my 5th.

Well, I mentioned the 5th house because it's the house of performers. In general, Saturn in that house is not an easy energy so who knows if it would turn out to be helpful in terms of your dream.

I don't think an empty 5th house = little chance of having children. And when it comes to Saturn placed there, it can be actually an anti-parenthood placement. Think of the mythological Kronos and his cute habit of eating his offspring He also rejected poor Chiron.

I can only nod at your asteroid list, don't have anything to add.

quote:
I'm going to research options for fine tuning my vocals and see if there are options available to an older person to sing, if nothing, at least for the art of it.

Maybe you wouldn't make money this way but you'd be paid in fun and peace of mind.

I have read through the searches here at LL, Saturn+Venus can be humbling in effect?

If it's a hard aspect, it can be more than humbling.

quote:
Do you suppose Saturn might bring a less dramatic flair in light of my 5th house matters?

What are you referring to exactly? Judging by the chart you posted, Saturn isn't connected to your 5th house in any way.

quote:
So a person like that might not aim to be a soloist, rather a duo or group?

If you're asking about Saturn in the 5th, I think it would take more than that to be too insecure to enjoy being in the center of attention. Let's also remember that Saturn likes to be in control of the outcome and that's easiest to achieve when you do something on your own.

quote:
if the personality charts for my Neptune, Venus, Sun and possibly Uranus would indicate better.

I've explored persona charts and they can make me think but I'm not sure how seriously we should take them.

quote:
I guess that leaves me with the question, Saturn couldn't ruin a potential if all the rest of the markers were positive, could he?

I don't know about others but I'm not that fatalistic I'd also refrain from blaming planets for anything.

quote:
In light of the children, I was always a good fur baby mother

I'm curious, cats or dogs? Or both?

Actually Saturn is bumping my 5th (by about 3') in a conjunction sort of.

Well, in my book there's no such thing as a planet conjunct the cusp of the next house (no matter the vicinity) unless it's an angle. Otherwise, I pay attention when a planet is very near the cusp of the house it falls into.

These extra charts are nice though, it's like using a magnifying glass.

Yeah, that's how they supposedly work. They were definitely fun to me for a while, it was like playing with a new, cool toy.

Mostly I've vibrated best with felines though

That's what I suspected.

Funny because in Celtic astrology I'm the cat.

Oh. Care to share some decent website? It's new to me.

I hope you're having a lovely day!

It can't be bad if I'm having an astro chat with someone nice

Sorry to disappoint you but I'd rather keep it my sweet little secret :P Thanks for the link!

You suspected it was cat, was it in my way of communication?

No, I just assumed that cats would be suitable pets for someone this Aqua

I'm also greatful you listened.

I'm always up for encouraging people to use their talents.

Your capacity for dealing well with group needs and public interest is undoubtedly the largest part of what kept you in such service jobs for so long. That is what Sun-Moon-Venus in such close alignment (in longitude and declination) have in common with creative performance. Those are all contra-parallel Pluto, which facilitates the expression of the creative urges there.

You have North Node trine Jupiter, both in water signs. (For some reason this aspect is not noted in the aspectarian of your natal chart). I take this as an aspect encouraging choice of direction, as does the luminary-Venus cluster in Aquarius. It also does not mark the biquintile aspect between Venus and Pluto, a good indicator of creative talent, or at least potential.

It is not plain to me whether this is an 'art' chart vs a 'science' or other chart, as I do not have the specific verified portions of the natal needed for that in-depth interpretation.

What I see is an ability to become interested in and do many things. Initative, yes, a self-start ... but will you become a self-director?

To do so you'll have to replace the group dynamic you've been responding to with another, or become very disciplined in your personal time, which you commit to at least one of your creative pursuits.

Mercury's wide trine with Pluto holds potential for all communicative pursuits, but you'll have to bear down with a particular focus. There is a tendency for a philosophical overview in the mind of persons with such Sagittarius+Aquarius combinations.

Consider this a process of decision making. Pluto is now in transit applying conjunct your natal Mercury. So the very fact you posted this inquiry is right on time with your schedule of transforming thinking and with that, how you think of your own talents.

Pluto has also been very closely parallel your natal Mercury recently, and will remain in that transit for a while longer. Look at the next 3-4 years as the time for that.

Saturn has also been in this transit parallel natal Mercury, presenting misgivings, a desire to say goodbye to previous thought/communications patterns. It is better to take up voice disciplines and practices than to continue seeing your ability as inadequate.

Jupiter is just now nearing a contra-parallel to natal Mars, a possible moment for taking up new activities.

Overall, the creative urge is strong when Sun and Moon meet Venus, particularly when contra-parallel Pluto. Whether or not you make it your vocation, it should not be ignored.
