Hey poochy, firstly, I don't think this question is very clear, unless there was a specific and well thought out idea in your head while asking this question. Sometimes you can communicate with the tarot cards without saying a question aloud.

Anyway, I guess you're asking how your relationship would progress?

If that's the case I assume the cards are saying that there is a certain sadness and/or disappointment, with lots and all kinds of emotions erupting from the situation which may either suddenly end or transform (resolve itself) or may lead to a significant transformation of your relationship (or end it in the worst case), or could represent some sort of a (romantic) choice that may not be in your hands so to say.

Try to stay positive, but avoid being naive of course. Just don't get into a pattern of negative thinking. Take a break and give yourself some time to see whatever situation has come up from all viable angles.
Often tarot cards represent passing energies and things can sometimes change quickly (as with the Death card).
