Yes, I'm worried things won't go well between us; or something will happen or maybe he has bad intentions for me but I also might just be very paranoid overly. I'm also excited to see him as well though daydream about our time together. I suspect he talks to his ex or at least follows her on instagram she lives back in his home country. No relatives of his are there I don't think he has a friend there though.

Just for clarification you stated his feelings are more serious did you mean for me? Or his ex??

I can get you worrying. And it's reasonable if i may say. What i saw with interaction with woman in the past is the actual thing he did in the past. And one of reasons that now you're constantly doubtful is probably caused by that. I still can't say that he's fully honest with you, but he feels bad about it and try to cover things up just so everything wouldn't be messed up.
He's feeling more serious about you. It's still early, but it's a progress. Take your time with him, but be careful with what he might say.
