What about the social and other implications of posts as insensitive as yours??

Ever think that maybe the world is full of people with mental issues because people have lost the ability to care about anyone but themselves?

Maybe people need learn that compassion instead of judgement would help a lot more.

Nobody is coddling or sugar coating anything. He needs professional help no doubt.

I sense something off about the post. Maybe coz his handle name is Great Gatsby( a movie name) and his name is John Carter(another movie name) and he stayed virgin coz there's no Virgo energy in his chart. But then again the names could have been used just to maintain anonymity.

And yeah the post does remind me a bit of soren.

BUT
If things are exactly as they have said, a post like yours can really give a person on the brink that final push to kill themselves.

While everyone deserves compassion there should be only much if the person refuses to take advice, and is completely self-surrendering and helpless about it, and most of these problems appear to be self-inflicted and in their mind there is only so much "compassion" can do. Unhealthy and dangerous thinking patterns if they persist and show no change will see compassion and soft words as an enabling to their unhealthy habits so they continue on doing it and get progressively worse; and so they respond better to appropriate criticism and rational judgment.

Was my original post harsh? Yes it was. But I have experience with these people and know how they can get and how awful they can be. Being mentally ill doesn't excuse hideous and inappropriate thoughts. If OP is proven to be Soren then he is a pedophile & a stalker too along with his thinly veiled transphobia, misogyny, and homophobia which is very unethical and immoral.

Yeah people do need a reality check but the timing is equally important. You don't tell a person who's on the brink of suicide to stop making a fuss and get their **** together, it just does not work that way. Yeah, they might need a psychiatrist but that is not the time to tell them.

I am simply addressing the fact that there was a thread posted which is a cry for help for whatever reason.

We do not have to be emotionally invested or drained by a post like this. But the way I see it is that if your mental health is in better shape than OP's you can simply choose to ignore the post or offer helpful advice.

There’s always two sides. You offer condolences / help or u ask them to shut up and suck it up. I don’t see why anyone needs to continue voicing their opinions on this matter . This guy could be dead for all we know.
