CLOSED TOPIC

I will already be closing this thread with the help of Randall & the Mods. I will be re-directing future requests for readings to my FB page for the more conventional divinatory methods like Tarot, astrology, crystals, angels, faeries, etc.

Thank you.

Thank you very much to the following who allowed me to road-test my Filipino Diwata Oracle Cards (aka the Filipino D.O.C.) which will soon be part of my divinatory toolbox. The Filipino DOC will truly segue with my practice: "My readings are good medicine."
In the order of the time stamp of their replies, MARAMING SALAMAT (THANK YOU VERY MUCH) & MABUHAY (LONG LIVE) to the ff KNOWFLAKES, especially those who left feedback and engaged me in friendly conversation:

1. @harmonicvibes
2. @Magikaal (suggested assigning elements to the Diwatas)
3. @Rheanna
4. @LibraGirl92
5. neptunicity
6. tphoenix5 (interested in buying the DOC when it's finally published)
7. @Caprika
8. @ymmi
9. @MoonChild30
10. @ReeseC
11. @blackestcashmere (for giving me a try)
12. @poochycat (offered to read for me as well, which I took up; plus was asking if I have a published book) (I told her that I have a poetry book, A NOVICE IN ALTRUISM AND OTHER POEMS, but since she's asking now, I was inspired to start another book project - in the concept stages yet, as of now) (check out the Author Learning Center [ALC] online for help with your manuscripts).

Stargazer Bles: My readings are good medicine. http://www.facebook.com/stargazer.bles

Mabuhay and hello! I am currently working on getting my own oracle card deck and guidebook published. Tentatively it will be called The Diwata Deck. "Diwata" is the inclusive term for both ancient gods & goddesses in my birth country, the Philippines. 🇵🇭 I am now roadtesting this baby to see if it'd fly! 🚘✈Please post your single question and I will pick 4 cards for you (1. past 2.present 3.future 4.foundation of the question/ what ties every element together). Please be patient as I commune with the cards and write out the Diwatas' answer to you. I only ask that in exchange for my free reading, you'd write an honest review - good, bad, etc., and you give me permission to post that review in my Stargazer Bles Facebook page. You can use an alias if you want. Thank you in advance and GO, ASK that darned question! 🇺🇸🇵🇭

Divinities drawn:

DIMANGAN-Tagalog goddess of the harvest

BUNAG-Gaddang tribe's god of the earth

BULON LA MOGOAW-T'boli tribe's moon goddess and supreme goddess

DIWATA- Batak & Palawan tribe's goddess who provides needs and gives rewards for good deeds

The first two diwatas drawn obviously speak of earthy energies, meaning that IC feels secure,
grounded, not to mention sensual, whenever he's around you. Dimangan urges you to carefully sow only what you want to reap. Bulon La Mogoaw's rulership over the moon hints of the strong emotional ties between you and IC. The foundation card, Diwata, is all about the equally auspicious nature of giving and receiving. If you want love, then give love as well. ***Maraming Salamat at Mabuhay! (Thank you and Long live!)

Divinities drawn:

KABUNIAN-Ifugao tribe's chief deity who dwells in the 5th region of the universe above the skyworld

KANLAON-Visayan supreme god & god of time

KADAW LA SAMBAD- T'boli tribe's sun god & supreme god

APOLAKI- Tagalog god of the sun & chief patron of warriors

All of the cards drawn represent gods, not a single goddess here in this draw. There is a lot of unbridled masculine energy running rampant in you, or perhaps in your place of work. You may be dealing with a single boss, but other coworkers may just love bossing people around, which you hate. I see

The foundation card, or what ties up everything together is Apolaki, whose keyword in the card is BRAVERY. The proverb associated with him is: "A hero when wounded becomes even braver." Therefore arm yourself for battle and do not be afraid. Be brave. By the way, the god Kanlaon, being the god of time, asks you a rhetorical question: What's the rush? I see the numbers 1, 7, 9, 10.also XIX for The Sun in tarot as cross-referenced with Kadaw La Sambad & Apolaki, tbe sun gods in this draw.

Just a side note lease notice that the beginning letter of the first three cards is K. Please do notify me later if you find them significant re: your career issues. Maraming salamat at Mabuhay!

Thank you very much for your reading!

I'm not sure what the masculine energy refers to but I'm sure it's not me or anyone I know. And I don't have a boss or co-workers, am self-employed. I actually need to be more aggressive, I think (and definitely more brave). Really liked the keywords and phrases, they are meaningful and they do apply to my situation. A hero when wounded becomes even braver, love that! Just curious, what are the keywords and proverbs associated with Kabunian and Kadaw La Sambad?

Will have to think about the numbers, the letter K and 'what's the rush'. I really appreciate your reading, it definitely resonates with what I already know to be true.

Maraming salamat at Mabuhay! right back at you.

Hi Rheanna!

Divinities drawn:
APOLAKI: Tagalog god of the sun & chief patron of warriors; key word: Bravery

LAKAPATI: Tagalog goddess of fertility; key word:Love

LIBULAN: Visayan god of the moon; key word: Impermanence

MANGLUBAR: Zambales god of powerful living; key phrase: Path of Peace

Apolaki signifies the Sun and warrior energy. Liang may have had to go through many difficulties before he was finally able to launch his new business. Now that he's already "opened shop," so to speak, he must treat this initial stage as if his business is his only love, as Lakapati would urge. Otherwise, the impermanence of the Moon takes over, ruled by Libulan, hinting of shifting fortunes.

You didn't mention the nature of Liang's business, but with the sun/fire energy, I thought of a restaurant (fire/stove/cook meal). Even the Moon & fertility goddesses in this draw suggest something related to food and prosperity - maybe an import-export company for fresh produce? Anyway, please enlighten me on what Liang's business is. Do tell - the suspense is killing me!

Manglubar, the foundation card, is associated with this proverb: "What can be settled amicably should not be settled violently." This is a common-sense type of reminder as Liang deals with clients, suppliers, and people from all walks of life. A conciliatory attitude will certainly win over more people to his venture. May the Path of Peace bless your husband's business! Maraming salamat and Mabuhay!

@Magikaal

Hi! Thank you for your feedback, which I value. Still road-testing, like I said. It's not the Diwatas who are at fault, but I, on my road to learning more about the potential of my deck. Could it be that the solar/masculine energy overload in the reading refers to that little extra boost of encouragement that you need to shake things up in your solo career?

Anyway, I digress. Here are the key words and Filipino proverbs (translated in English) for KABUNIAN & KADAW LA SAMBAD:

KABUNIAN: Answered Prayer
Proverb: What has not happened in many years may happen by chance. One cannot always predict the future on the basis of past or present experience.

KADAW LA SAMBAD: Good Leadership
Proverb: The proper execution of a command depends on the one who issues it. There can be good followers only if there are good leaders.

I hope you found all these helpful. Thanks again!

Thanks so much for that, the one for Kabunian also resonates with me. Does your deck have pictures? Would like to have a look.

Edit: yes, little boost of encouragement is what I needed, and what I got from your reading. Thanks very much

Hi LibraGirl92!

Divinities drawn:

HALIYA: Bicol region's masked goddess of the moon & arch-enemy of Bakunawa, the giant sea serpent/ key word: Challenges

DIYAN MASALANTA: Tagalog goddess of love, protector of lovers, etc./ key word: Child

OBBAN: Bontok-Kankanai tribe's goddess of reproduction/ key word: Meant To Be

BUGAN: Bontok-Kankanai tribe's lovely goddess of romance/ key word: Beauty versus Virtue

OK, here goes: If you carefully notice, all cards drawn here are for female Diwatas. So this reading is really about YOUR story. Let's trace this: you've had to face some challenges to claim the love that you deserve (Haliya). Currently, the goddess Diyan Masalanta, protector of lovers, guides your relationship. Diwata Obban, though, has a Filipino proverb to share with you:"If something is not meant to be, then it won't be."

The mystique of the Divine Feminine figures largely in his attraction to you. So of course he's smitten, drawn to you, intrigued by you!
But Diwata Bugan wants you to know this: "Beauty fades; goodness doesn't." As we know, beauty ages and doesn't last, yet goodness & virtue live on. So if you ever get a hint that he's only attracted to your outward charm and physical desirability, then you'd best be moving on. Otherwise, if he's really in it for the long haul, then both of you must align your values, i.e., the spiritual is more permanent than the material. Maraming salamat at Mabuhay!

@neptunicity

I have a weird system for tarot reading. In it, the usual elemental attributions for the suits of Swords and Wands are reversed. Therefore in my practice, the Swords are to Fire (think of said sword being forged... where else? In fire) as Wands are to Air (think trees of wood getting their sustenance from air). These assignments have worked well for my readings since I started out in 2001. (Reference: THE TAROT by Adam Fronteras (Carlton Books, 1996)

That being said, VII of Swords is not about B. It's actually about you: how stressed you already are from balancing all your active life concerns. You may think there's no way out. But hey, keep your spirits up and read further below. Now let's see if we can get a different vibe this time.

Divinities drawn:
TODLIBUN: Cotabato province's goddess of marriage/ key word: Commitment

LAKAPATI: Tagalog goddess of fertility/ key word: Love

OBBAN: Bontok-Kankanai tribe's goddess of reproduction/ key phrase: Meant To Be

SISILIM: Pampanga province's goddess of the dusk/ key phrase: Ask for Help

Now here, we obviously get a more feminine vibe, seeing as all cards drawn were those of goddesses. This time, yes, it's all about B. What she wants are the key words for the first 3 goddesses: love, commitment, and the assurance that whatever it is between you is truly meant to be. The foundation card featuring Diwata Sisilim, urges both of you to ask for Divine help, for as the Filipino proverb says,"One who always asks for directions will never lose one's way." Whether what's between you eventually works out or not, either way you would both grow tremendously from the experience. So cheer up and hold only positive thoughts! Maraming salamat at Mabuhay!

@tphoenix5

Hi! Divinities drawn:

LUMAWIG: Ifugao tribe's god, creator of all things and the preserver of life/ key word: Character

LIBULAN: Visayan god of the moon/ key word: Impermanence

ADLAW: Visayan god of the sun/ key word: Knowledge

KANLAON: Visayan supreme god & god of time/key phrase: take your time

The first Diwata, Lumawig, hails from the northernmost region of the Philippines. The other 3 gods are all from the Visayas or the more southern island of the Visayas. If we look at it that way, as if by voting, then 3 out of 4 Diwatas are gently urging you to stay at your current job, at least for the time being. Libulan hints at impermanence, so if you do feel stuck, don't lose heart. Isn't it said that character (see Lumawig's key word) is fate? So build up your character, strengthen your resolve, upgrade your knowledge, and as Kanlaon, god of time, would suggest: Take your time. The Filipino proverb says: "One who walks fast & steps on a thorn gets a very deep wound; one who walks slowly gets hardly a scratch." Take your time.

Maraming salamat at Mabuhay!

Hey Blessings & Light, I just thought of something. After looking at your facebook page I saw mention of astrology charts. In your reading for me (thank you) you mentioned the solar gods overload. Well, my natal chart is low in the fire element, other 3 elements are balanced. I'm not sure if you have different gods in your deck to represent different astrological polarities but I mention that in case it is useful in deck development and how the cards read energy.

Thanks again.
