I have this placement and it's hard for me to focus on one thing for long periods of time. For example whenever I have to read text for class I can only read for a certain amount of time. Then my mind wanders and I start doing something else. I also have Mercury square Neptune, Mercury sextile Mars, Mercury conjunct Jupiter and Mercury trine Saturn.

I guess it's the Mercury square Neptune aspect that makes it difficult for me to focus?

I can't answer this for you, but I also have ADD and GAD (generalized anxiety disorder). I've always known something was up for years, but never really assumed I had ADD. Until last year, I went to a psychotherapist about my distraction and found out that I have ADD. And after several questions or so it turned out I had GAD as well.

Hope you can find the answer you're looking for!

I have several mercury aspects to Venus, Mars, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus. I'm mercury dominant with virgo ascendant. I exhibit a few symptoms of ADHD but not diagnosed yet. I think if you have any aspects to mercury , you'll be prone to something similar to ADD / ADHD.

Are you able to learn new things? And retain information? I have
Mercury sextile Mars, Mercury trine Saturn, Mercury conjunct Jupiter and Mercury square Neptune.

I'm able to learn new things but its very hard to retain information. I also blank out and when people talk. I use to think its because people were so boring or soft-spoken but since taking this job I realize it might be ADD or something similar.

So how were you able to retain the information needed to do your job? I'm worried that I might not be able to remember the information I am learning in Anatomy and Physiology. But I have to learn and remember the information in order to pass the class.

I have ADD, don't have Mercury in Aries, is in Cancer but my Mercury opposes Neptune so I guess is kinda like your square, trines Pluto also, semi-sextile Mars.

Mercury rules my 8th and sits in my 8th, so basically I think wasn't that hard for me.

Try mind mapping. I think the author of the mindmapping books is tony Buzan and he's worth a read even if your time is limited. The brevity of the method appealed to my Mercury in Aries and also it's creative which made it more fun, yet thorough (my Mercury opp Pluto would not be satisfied with scanning). I've also used Pinterest to group theories under pics before if you are visual

I don't really know enough about ADD to know if I have it but I'm able to concentrate very intensely (Mercury opp Pluto) and at other times am too restless. Has to be something I care about

I'd lean more towards a strongly aspected Mercury... With ADD, the focusing challenges tend to arise from being bombarded with too much stimulation. Sort of like being in an electronics store, and every single TV screen is competing for attention. It's not that there's an inability to be attentive, rather there's a sensitivity towards stimulus/details which can be overwhelming and that results in what's seen as inattentivenes. I've heard really positive feedback for cranial sacral therapy mindfulness and mapping methods for supporting ADD and anxiety.
