Topic: Help! Candle Interpretation.

Soooo...I lit a candle on Saturday. It was a red love/attraction candle. This is the candle I burned: https://www.candlewickshoppe.com/index.php?option=com_opencart&Itemid=140&route=product/product&path=117&product_id=51&limit=100 I wrote on the candle with a needle (my intentions), spoke my intentions aloud, read the prayer on the candle aloud, and wrote a detailed intentions on a piece of paper and placed it underneath the candle (which was in a glass candle holder). When it first burned on a Saturday, it was a tall and very bright flame (unmoving). I went to sleep with the candle still burning but I woke up in the middle of the night and sniffed it out by covering it. The next day I relit the candle and it started jumping/dancing like crazy! This time I didn't blow out the candle. Went to work and came home to the top part of the glass with black soot. I wasn't sure what it meant and called the place where I got it to ask. I was told not to worry and that my intentions are doing its thing and not to worry about it and that everything will work out good. I felt better but when I came home from my night job the black soot had reached all the way almost to the bottom of the glass. The flame was on the wick still burning for a while until it finally faded out (the candle finished burning). There isn't any wax residue on the sides of the glass or anything. So I wanted to know if anyone could tell me by the way this looks if this is a good thing or bad? I must add this is my FIRST time burning a candle for this purpose on my own. I have burned a candle in the past (which worked) but it was to help me write only. Below are pictures of what the black soot looks like on the glass and what it looked like inside. I've looked up the meanings but I'm running into a lot of different meanings, so I'm not sure if I should try another candle (but let a professional do it).

wow that is a really black candle! for love / attraction I believe a pink candle works best.Pink attracts harmonic relationships based on positive softer emotions like happiness, love, etc. I personally have no preference as intention is the most important. Red attracts flings/ sex/ and temporary relationships. Hopefully your candle wasn't to make anyone love you because that is a sign its not going to happen. usually all black glass means theres a lot of blocks preventing whatever wish you want to come true / that right now its not suppose to happen. Suggestions would be to keep lighting your 7 day candles until all the black disappears.Usually a clear glass is best. if your next 7 day candle isn't white to clear then you will have to keep lighting the 7 days.

also I strongly believe you should light your own candles. Professionals at times do not have your best interest at heart and can accidentally wish for something that you don't really need in life or is counter to your life path. also out of curiosity how did you manage to inscribe the candle when its in the glass? No, the candle wasn't used to make someone love me, as their feelings are already there (just trying to ignore them). I was told to get this candle instead at the store instead of the "come to mama" and a pink candle. Maybe the lady wasn't that knowledgeable in what I was explaining that I needed? Idk. And I have read after i purchased the red candle that pink is best for what I'm trying to use it for lol. So, I'll either get another candle (pink one this time) or probably just allow things to flow naturally on their own without the candle lol. I'm not really sure yet. And I inscribed on the candle because the candle didn't come inside a glass. The glass is a container separate to insert candles into
EDIT: would any pink candle work? I don't anoint it or anything like that. I just lit the candle and did my thing with the intentions. If any candlenis okay, then I may get a pink one today after work, if I can find one at a store lol.

ahh thats good. I never had a 7 candle not attached to the glass. Lucky you. haha. I actually use a sharpie and wrote on the 7 day candle and anoint it with oils any pink or white candles should work. I do a one hour intention/ prayer session with the candle every day for 6/7 days. sometimes it finishes within 5 days because the flame was so big. I let it burn completely and then read the glass. I also forgot to mention. if the flame was super high and big its usually a good sign. I actually had it burn so brightly it turned black. I can't remember all my candles and the outcome/ effects but it has been generally positive. IP: Logged |

The flame was high and very bright. I read those were good signs. Even as it was melting within the glass the wax formed the shape of a heart, but a human heart. Not the drawing of a heart. So despite the black glass, is that still a good sign? Because the black soot isn't all the way to the bottom.The candle also burned very fast. I purchased it on Saturday and it finished burning yesterday (Monday). But I did relight it on Sunday. Either way it burned fast and I'm not sure if it's a 7 day candle or not lol but I guess it is lol. Idk how to read the glass, so when the pink on is finished (if I purchase it today) would it be okay if you read it for me? I could probably look up meanings again if you couldn't, but I just didn't want to be confused lol. (Also, I don't plan on anointing mine. I'll just say the intentions the same as I did it before most likely. And this time I'll use a marker to write instead. That idea sounds better than me using a needle like I did lol. IP: Logged |

Well, it is very dark but seems to be clearing up on the bottom. Seems like there are a lot of blocks, which this light may have helped to clear. I'd follow up with a second candle, preferably white for overall clearing. IP: Logged |

So for the purposes of the candle, white and pink do the same thing? So it doesn't matter which one I use? I just don't want to have to buy one and then it turns out I needed a different one lol I'll be going to the store to get it in about 20mins or so. IP: Logged |

Ah nvm, I'm seeing that any pink or white candle would work from what a furry said.Since you suggested white, I'll get a white one! Thank you both for commenting any more advice would be much appreciated if you feel the need to add anything else. Otherwise, I will post the second update when it finishes burning. Also, can I still use the same intention note? Or would I have to write a new one? The one that's underneath that one had wax that got on it somehow. Probably from the heat? I did have a second white candle burning next to it but eventually snuffed it out but the wax on the paper is only surrounding the area where that glass candle was on. IP: Logged |

So I bought a white candle, but I should have gotten a taller, slimmer candle. I got one of those candles that is inside a jar and I doubt the flame would hold up because as it's sinking the flame would eventually touch the wax and go out. Right now the candle's flame is somewhat dim because of that. I've experienced things like that in the past with candles (not for this purpose but for smell good purposes, lol). I'm starting to regret buying this one because I'm sure it will blow out on it's on soon lol. I'm also burning a blue one for inner balance and that one is doing fine so far! But I'm just wary of the white one >_< Should I get a slimmer candle or is it fine? Like when it (if) it blows out, I wouldn't take that as a sign considering the wick to me would have been too short which would explain why it blew out (I'd guess). Any advice/suggestions? Oh! I'll have to remove my original intention note then. I feel like I'm messing up because I saw your message after I already lit it and did everything lol. I did write a new one, but I place it on top of the old intention note. I'll remove it and rewrite a new one quickly before I leave for work lol. IP: Logged |

I agree type of candle yields different results. Usually when it's dim is bc there's too much wax. For my sanity I usually pour it out and let it keep burning. I think some people like manipulating the candles to get the result they want so it's really up to you .
I also have a habit of burning my intentions with the lit candle so I do not reuse my wishes.

😩 Now I feel like I have to get another candle :/
Because it's a round glass jar.
Maybe I'll make a trip to the grocery store to see if they have a tall white candle, but idk if they will or not.
Hopefully when a I go home it's still lit and not drowned within the wax lol. If it's not drowned then I won't get another candle. Geez, I wish I realized that when I bought it. I'm new to this so I live and learn i guess but I hate I wasted money if it does blow out.I just keep my intentions. I never thought of burning them before! Mine is written on a piece of bigger paper and idk how that would be if I burned it while lit. I'd probably start a fire that way lol. IP: Logged |

lol it'll be okay... the most important variable is your energy/focused intent. I like burning my petition papers too... easily done in a fire pit, BBQ grill, even a fire proof pot can work. IP: Logged |

So I'm home now and surprisingly it's still burning!
I have a feeling this candle may take a while to burn!
The inner balance candle is burning clear so far (no black soot) but there is a bit of wax on the inside of the glass but maybe that will go away after some time. Idk yet. Here is the white candle:
 The inner balance candle: It's weird how it's melting. I placed the candle inside the glass but idk how to explain it but as you can see the wax is dropping down to the bottom but the middle of the candle is still the same shape.

So far both candles are burning clear, which is a good thing I'm assuming! Lol. The blue one (inner balance) has a tiny bit of black soot but nothing rarely noticeable. Once both are finished burning completely I'll post a picture of them. But the blue one should be finished soon. The white one probably has a couple more days. IP: Logged |

Looks like it cleared away challenges, and things are good to go. The darkness is a much lighter hue, clears at end, and no visible wax residue on sides/edges. IP: Logged |

This one isn't that dark one, lol. It's a different candle.
For that one I decided to use a white candle and that one is still burning but this blue one is the first one I've used for inner balance. I don't have anymore for inner balance but I do have a small yellow/tannish color candle (not sure how to describe the color) for a needed change. Maybe I'll burn that one tonight! IP: Logged |

go to your local target or 99 cents store for the 7 day candles. I get them for $2-3 a day. I would relight another blue candle for inner balance until it clears. asking for archangel Raphael might help if you believe in angels.  IP: Logged |

The white candle finished burning! I think because if the type of candle it was it couldn't finish burning at the end because the wick is short. So there is still wax on the bottom. This white candle turned out MUCH better than the red one, at least to me it did lol. Can someone read this one for me?  IP: Logged |
