Happy Saturday, For clarification, does this forum have any official or unofficial guidelines in regards to reading response timelines? Is the general overall understanding to respond within a day/24 hours? A couple days? A week? Does it depend on the reader? I browsed and didn't find anything addressing this, if the question has been clarified in the past, I do apologize.

Usually it is within that day ( 24 hrs ) as there are people from all over in different time zones. And usually people prefer if it is done soon if not is it good to say I am not able to do this now but will within xy time. Or people do come and say they might not reply right away and if the asker chooses it is ok with them or not.Someone might want a reading right away, someone does not mind waiting But generally people like it when you tell them it will take longer. Always good to keep in mind time zones IP: Logged |

Nope there's no rule requiring a person to read within 24 hours. It's personal preference. People have lives and things happen. Some people are just impatient. hope you're doing well and enjoying your new job. 💕 IP: Logged |

I agree with FB. Things come up and happen unexpectedly. A person may have every intention of exchanging quickly but then something comes up. Opening up a thread and calling the person out rudely is extremely poor form. A bump up within the thread is more appropriate. Showing a little kindness and patience is more appreciated. IP: Logged |

Thanks everybody. I've been on LL for a long time, with some breaks and pauses from active participation. I'd been absent from this forum for a couple years, and wasn't sure if the moderators/members established time frame guidelines. I'll do my best to clarify with readers from now on if response may be delayed to help maintain positive interactions, and reduce potential for miscommunications. IP: Logged |

No guidelines..I don't think anyone should be pressured to feel this way. It depends on the rules you want to set, or state in your posts originally, etc. A lot of rude "users" on this forum..especially with fake/multiple names like to take advantage of others (readings wise, emotionally, etc). ------------------ "So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets." ------------------ "Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty.
