I don't think you should pursue a deeper study into this, at least not right now, maybe sometime in the near future. The Hermit indicates a period of isolation and thought. Really think about this, is this what you really want? Take time to look over your past decisions and choices, have they been rash based off of the way you view them? Through rose colored glasses, in a sense. King of Pentacles is showing that if and when you do choose to pursue this, you have to be committed, you won't get very far at all if you half-ass it. It's also showing that you may be short-sighted regarding this and are not really thinking about the hardships this career path may bring. Think about it a bit more, is what I'm getting from Hermit and KoP. Page of Pentacles shows that you're hardworking and you do dedicate yourself to whatever it is you're interested in at the time, so I suppose you won't have to worry about the half-assing, so disregard that. It also shows that you'll be beginning education, possibly during the winter. Onto the next line, Chariot, Moon, Tower. Chariot shows self-discipline leading to success, but also pressure. Are you facing pressure from friends, family and colleagues to quickly choose a career path? Moon depicts illusion, there are the rose colored glasses from before, like you said this branch isn't commonly practised, but you may be disillusioned by the helpful benefits and effects it brings. I'm having trouble reading tower, so I'm going to say that it's telling you to be careful and be wary as to avoid any accidents or traumatic experiences. Queen fo Pentacles and King of Wands in regards to your teachers, both are great, I think it's saying, so whoever you choose will take you down the same path regardless. The female teacher is like a mom to her students, she's nice, generous, and nuturing. The male teacher is ambitious and passionate and a natural born leader. Both only want the best for their students and apprentices. Ace of Pentacles as outcome, success in your new ventures, but avoid poor planning. Remember to thorougly think things through, you may want to do some research before you decide to fully dedicate yourself to the pursuit of this branch of acupuncture.
