This guy misses you, these are even his thoughts I feel like he misses you then thinks about how he misses you.
I also get him having thoughts on what to do, like if he can do anything to bring you back, he does have a little pessimistic thoughts like it may be too late or what he should do or if the risk is worth it. So he is over analyzing. He still cares for you, I feel like he is in his head a lot thinking about old times and how you made him feel so these feelings to give him hope though. He does see hope but gets lost in too many thoughts

You are right about that. I am waiting for a hip replacement surgery. Oh, more feedback! It will be happening March 3, 2018. You mentioned the end of February. But...you are right about energy. I am not feeling great these days. Hope things work out with you and D.

I haven't done card readings and exchanges for more than a month , I may need time to get onto the groove again. But from the cards I pulled in regard to you question it looks like D. doesn't know how to interpret you at the moment, and how you meant when you commented. It like he doesn't know if you are mad at him for something or if you are friendly. He feels there is a change of power between you where one of you holds more weight and sort of calls the shots at the moment.

Maybe I didn't pull the correct cards.

But when I looked at the string , I saw whip in the middle surrounded by Mice and Dog, it was like he was worried if you feel friendly or mad ( mice+dog+whip). Not the comment itself but behind it.

There is some dissatisfaction from one side and undiciciveness. I feel like one of you is very unsure in what to do and if to take things to the next level. I also feel like there is a want from both sides despite all this to try and find compromise and make things work.
So I do still feel energy of hope but it is not as intense there still doubt covering it.
