So, it seems like she did and felt some sort of satisfaction about it. So looking at your situation, the overall feeling from him right now is really platonic. He feels things did went well with you, you two got to know each other with good impressions. He sees things as an opportunity to have a good time, enjoy each other's company. No romance on his mind right now, he really is more focused on himself.

I get why you're confused with him, he doesn't have the commitment yet to go with his words. He actually does see you as partner material though, he has a longing to settle down in future, live the idyllic and stable life. He has a fear of loneliness of ending up by himself in future. I also feel like he wants to hold you down while be figures out and explore the connection with you.

My q is on the same person, the same day she deleted me she rejoined the group chat that she used to be in (that I'm also in). Why is that?

Weird cards for that one. So, I think she rejoined the chat because maybe she unjoined it then randomly decided to rejoin it, I think the reason is she suddenly felt bored or something the group chat whatever is in it or on it kinda of entertains her. Some things been going on so she honestly out of boredom rejoined.
