I pulled some lenormand cards for you, but I must say, I was startled by the first row.

the man, the coffin and the anchor. A depressed man working, or working with a depressed man. Or depressed because of work? Quite strange because the other cards are Soooo positive.

the second row tells me that a messenger will bring a "yes" answer to a woman.

The third row tells me that new good opportunities are coming, and they are abundant. The opportunities may have something to do with communication, the internet and maybe a bit of technology involved.

The first diagonal from left to right with the man, the woman and the stars shows some communication through the internet between man and woman. Could you possibly have a mentor coming your way? Or will you be mentoring others?

The second diagonal shows the child, the woman and the anchor. "New woman job" or maybe a job in which you will have to make use of female archetype qualities of receptiveness, patience, attention to detail. Or this could simply be representing a new opportunity in the near future coming your way.

There could be a new message coming from a man. This could be coming from a loyal friend. There seems to be something to do with sickness. I'm wondering if your career will have something to do with counseling the sick? I don't feel any negativity surrounding the coffin, even though, usually, it is quite a negative card.

The last column: anchor, key, and stars seems to point to a very positive outcome for your question. So, you could be looking at your career possibly coming together next year in a very successful way. The star magnifies the key, so many 'yeses' over, your job/career will have good new opportunities to establish you in a good place.

Looks like you are stuck (stalemate) with your career, but there is someone (King of Coins) that is experienced and would be a loyal friend to help you. He would also be a good marriage partner. You need to look to the past and make corrections on how to proceed--improve...and this should help you progress upwards. It's a good time to also be decisive and know what you want or an opportunity may be lost. You are also cautious, but you may end up missing the boat and then try to recover. There's also someone around you who is unrealistic (maybe a younger male as I got the page of coins O(rev)) and may cost you some money. Looks like you will gain control over what it is you want to do, though. There will be some changes, could be some fighting, too. After that, you will have a resolution to all of this and will find inspiration in the arts. This card is showing a friendship with women--not sure if they are already in your life or new people that you will meet. Anyways, I pulled more cards and got that you will experience more ups and downs, but then you will be successful.

I changed careers over 5 years ago and spent time really thinking about what I liked...and what I'm doing now is something that I had on the backburner for over 20 years, but I really enjoy doing it and before I started...it popped up again right before I made the change.

No one understood me changing from corporate America to writing, but it feels good. I think if everyone who went to work, liked what they did, most jobs wouldn't be too bad.

I think you will feel more "freedom" in fashion and with the creativity, it will be more fulfilling. I did the college thing, but only go what I needed and then I had to think of my health as they kept giving me more and more work with my days getting longer. I also have a dog, which I could never have had before with my hours. She has been a blessing to me.

I don't particularly get anything negative. On the contrary, the man, the dog and the anchor form a downward triangle. It would indicate that the man could be a good partner with whom you'll work.

The dog represents friendship, goodwill, loyalty and long term partnership. The reading indicates that the man on the top row and the dog are directly connected to what you'll be doing for a living (the anchor card is toward the end of the reading and a such represent the future). I'm willing to say that the loyal friend and the man here are the same person.

I think the man represents your actual friend because he is at the beginning of the reading which could point to a working relationship between you two materializing.

He could be sending you a message about work. There is also a possibility that he could be sending you a message about sickness.

Notice that the man and the woman are facing each other. The man seems like he's approaching the woman, and the woman seems to be thinking about the man (him being on top of her head).

So far, I don't pick up negativity since this is more of a career reading. if it were a personal (health or love) reading I would be a bit on edge, yes. But it isn't so we are OK.
