this reading makes sense to me. she gave positive feedback and asked me to work longer with her. Although, the feedback wasn't out of proportion, she said i needed improvement but have sufficient calibre to work for her.

So, do you see me continuing working with her?

So it seems like yes. He may want it but only after making things clear between you and him. This has been going on for some time I guess. There is no transparency and he would really appreciate if there was. The thing is he would be glad if you were to have a physical chemistry again.
