I have another job which is part-time, but it's not enough money. I have submitted my CV for a full-time position there, but don't know if some of the others would want me to work there full-time (jealousy, etc.)

I am so sick of all the job instability I have had over the years. I am trying to retrain and get another qualification, but it is extremely hard when all this sh*t keeps happening.

It is my 44th birthday tomorrow, and over the last few days I have been seriously fed up. The job instability thing has been going on my whole life, and I don't understand it. My flatmate (also my SO, who has been a rock) has, over the last few years, managed to find his niche. Why can't I?

My father also had lots of job ups and downs over the years, and my mother did not work at all (not even particularly in the house, though she was meant to be a housewife). They weren't interested in what I did for a job, only criteria were that it was something which "looked good". I never scored in that department, because I just simply couldn't get jobs!

WHEN, PLEASE, WHEN, will things improve for me? I am trying to do everything in my power to make my life better. I have had a dreadful time for years and I seriously think there must be some hardship indicators in my chart.

I do notice that Fixed signs, and Earth signs, never seem to want for anything. I have no Fixed signs in my chart, and no Earth.

Perhaps I should adopt a more inflexible, Taurean attitude - they always get what they want, and are extremely smug the whole time (and I can't stand them because of that).

Particularly on the money/ job front - for the last 20 years it has been one crisis after another.

According to the chart drawn up, your career life is prone to lots of changes.

* I was a published author, also wrote and taught.
* I worked in sales, used to be good at telesales, but can hardly sell a thing now.
* I was a singer and performer, which I loved above all else. However, could not make money from that (even though now I make a little from my recordings) and was publicly dissed on a reality show about 3 1/2 years back.
* I am an excellent and hardworking PA, but lost that job because they closed the office in my part of the world. Back to square one...This is what I would like to do for a job - I am also trying to study for a finance certificate, when my emotions do not get the better of me.

Re: arts:
* I was a talented painter and fashion designer, but could not make any money from that either. After the reality show episode, I went to pieces. I have not created anything since.
