I'm in a bit of a life dilemma. I originally wanted to do something political. I've been interested in politics for many years, and well..there are definitely elements of my Natal Chart which help with that. The problem is, I'm increasingly finding myself to be a "political alien." I've been a member of a political party for a few years now. Volunteered on campaigns. Became involved in the Riding Association (I'm in Canada...we have a parliamentary system). But, I'm not really a fan of the current political climate, and where I see it going. There are very divisive issues being discussed right now, that I disagree with my own political party on. Yet, I don't fit with the other political parties in my country either. Becoming involved in provincial or federal politics is extremely impractical for me, for that reason. If I were to get involved in politics, I'm more likely to do so at the municipal level, to avoid the party system. Or maybe work for an NGO.

On the other hand, I've been writing songs for around 6 years (I'm 20). I did it for fun. I can write in various genres. Though, I never really saw it as a career path. I didn't even think that I had a good singing voice, until I went to a bar with friends, sang karaoke, and had people compliment my singing voice after. There are even a few regulars who cheer me on, all the time haha. And now, thinking back on my life...I feel like I'm being pushed in this direction by The Universe.

As you'll see, my Natal Chart has a massive focus on communication. I always assumed that this focus was meant to be for some kind of political activism. Though...now I wonder if it's for singing instead. What do you all think?

About singing, yes for it too. Mercury as planet of communication in 2nd house. 2nd house as natural house of Taurus and Taurus rules throat, when you connect these two, you have it. You're a Leo, Leos are known also for good singing and glamour. You're double Leo.

I think I'm going to put more time into writing, and practicing. I'll see what happens. If it goes well, maybe I can join a band and see where things go. So much of my life seems like it's been directed towards music, in one way or another.

I'll keep doing political stuff in the meantime. But I'll put less energy into it. Right now, I'm very emotionally and mentally drained by some of the nonsense going on (on both sides of the political spectrum). So, I'm going to dial it down a bit in that area.
