With this set of cards I'd say this person might be leaving. While I was shuffling, the Fool card also turned over.
Whatever this situation is the person has/had some kind of deep reflection about the direction to take. 2 of Cups can signify some kind of emotional/logical contract or joining together - possibly with this rational King of Swords.

I pulled an additional clarifier: "Don't make decisions based on guilt or what you think you should do, for it is only in being true to yourself that you can be true to others."

I can see some indecision going on on his side about the two of you. I'd say he thinks you're kind, friendly and cute, but it'll be a longer process for him to figure out how he actually feels (Knight of Pents with Only time will tell and Look inside yourself cards)
If this is a situation at the workplace, then I'd say he's currently rather distracted with work which weighs him down. But overall he keeps an open mind about your connection. He'll definitely think about it, and very soon, probably in the near future make a decision about how he feels.

This option feels and seems a bit better for me. These people seem to be more secure and the experience would be a giddy one with much laughter. But after a while perhaps they'd decide to go home earlier? I have this feeling of being somewhat older people, or people with a healthier lifestyle (like going to sleep earlier) about them.

All in all I'd say N and S would be more enjoyable with a possibility of going home a bit earlier than you'd expect. Or, another scenario - feeling totally chill with them.
