i try to get as many option i can get for next year in the professionnal field.

as it's the application campaign period for following academic program right now in my country, i am trying to know all the best option for me and i will apply then i will choose according to the approval i will get from all the applications i done.

so i have 5 options :

1) stay in my field psychology and apply master degree
2)go for a philosophy phd
3)go for a theology phd
4)go for psychoanalysis phd
5) psychotherapist program

what is the best option for me ? what will work best ?

psychology is very good because it's very easy to find easily a work afterwards but it's highly selective, very hard and competition between students are unhealthy and ruthless.

i love also philosophy but job outlets are just miserable unless you choose to teach. So i don't want to be unemployed after 3 to 6 years of a phd status to nothing again

i like also theology but it's the same problem, if you don't teach or don't preach there is no outlet.

the psychoanalysis phd could lead me to liberal profession as well as the psychotherapist program but there is few university teaching this program and i have been ghosted from one.

i can get a 6) or 7) solution next year : family counselor program or public trustee but they are a downgrade of my intellectual profile and lead to a less shiny status.

I'd say you'd do best with choosing something regarding psychology, like kinesiology - if you're interested in ways that are considered perhaps more holistic. The family counseling is also a good idea to be considered, and something regarding art, or philosophy, or liberal arts - they might lead you to a leader position later in your life. And a training which involves both nutrition and counseling, like a lifestyle counselor, or something like this.

now i am hesitating between insisting on psychology and specialize in family therapy maybe like the Palo Alto school otherwise philosophy phd or familiy counselour.

If you were to pursue the training for psychoanalysis, I believe that your OWN psychoanalysis would be involved with it.

In the next years it would not just bless and benefit you, but benefit your clients in the long run, should you go the psychoanalysis route.

There is a 'anti-religion' climate right now. I think that if you want to include religion with your studies, this would be very grounding and beneficial to you and your clients in coming years.

People are trying to 'throw Jesus under the bus' right now, and saying that he doesn't belong to the new age.

There could be a surprise revival in spirituality (inclusive religions w/ Jesus) in the future, as we have the Pluto Neptune and Uranus Sag generations growing into positions of social influence.

You will be able to serve this particular generation, with sensitivity and Knowledge.

Some of these too, are 'off-balance' .. and will need your assistance.

Since you are interested in philosophies (H9 Moon) and religion, have you had any mystical experiences?

Since there MIGHT be a scheduled Awakening in Consciousness, IF you are interested in Higher Consciousness and spirituality, you might want to include studies on the various 'awakening' symptoms, and the types of altered consciousness that can happen during those times.

If you study Jung's diary (Redbook?), you'll read how HE went through altered-states during his own life. They can mimic psychosis.

There's a doc named Farmer who has a following. He helps mentally-ill folks who are schizophrenics. WITHIN his work, he had found clients with spiritual experiences. Sometimes it takes MUCH discernment to tell the difference between someone in psychosis (Uranus opp Uranus can destabilize some), and someone having kundalini experiences.

Of course, I am PARTIAL to astrology studies.
Jung himself BROUGHT astrology into his practice, and was able to save months of analysis/therapy for his clients, by looking at their chart aspects.

If you are still in Europe, there are astrology schools that incorporate psychology and therapy? You might wish to take some of their courses.

you are right, right now religion is really in a bad state looking at religion linked with extremism and terrorism and also scandal like the Chili one at the moment.

I have seen Pluto in 5th in people's chart as having a powerful influence socially in the lives of youth and children. (especially when it moves deeper into the 5th)

You have your Jupiter in the 11th.
This is powerful in attracting support for your social networking efforts.

Very much agree with there being problems with extremist religions. There are parents raising up their children in isolative religion cults.

These will need much assistance, when/if they come to independent ages and encounter the world.

How much of an interest do you have in astrology?

Can you sum up your hypothesis about how these can heal the addictions and disorders?

i am into astrology for long time but i am cautious with astrology, looking only what's the trends with transit and rs with distance. i think all my doubt and block come from saturn square sun transit and this **** neptune sqaure MC and now sitting on my DC which make me remind everyday to stay focus and concrete.

In the USA it became more popular to get a shortcut 'counseling' degree for masters-doctorate PsyD instead of a full scientific psychology degree PhD, and adding counseling.

I've noticed too, in the past decade or more, a push towards brain-science(neuro)-- They want to focus things more 'mentally' and 'chemically' rather than working with a person's emotional, inspirationally-imaginative, and spirituality realms.

Plato's Neptunian metaphysical cave! LOL.
Versus Aristotle's more saturnian limited viewpoint, void of Higher Understanding and the acknowledgment of the spiritual realms (outer planets, beyond saturn)??

Your description reminded me of diets to lose weight (for example).
It's better to choose images (more positive) of what healthy-alternatives you CAN eat, as opposed to holding images of calorie rich chocolate devil's-food cake with delicious fudge frosting and telling yourself you are punished and need to deny yourself this (more negative).

With recent work in addictions, they have proven that when a person acknowledges a Higher Power (outside of themselves), and combines it with inner submission, then they have a better chance of survival and success. That would involve engaging the Neptunian (faith, future sucess) realms rather than the work of sheer Will (Saturn, punished for being 'bad' and being an addict).

But/and, it will be a blessing if they can solve some of that by understanding the neurology, of COURSE. (People definitely suffer harshly.)

Believing in an Ideal, versus hardcore mental reality ? ---

With Neptune to move through your 7th, I've read that its a time where you might not know 'who' your true supporters really are. Difficulties expressing yourself and being understood.

What I learned is the use my water planets and houses, in order to balance that crispy-intellect, with going 'within' and using what you 'feel' as a guide.

It increased my use of faith, and brought me stronger into The Ideal, the Heart.

I certainly admire you for your ambitious projects and for working to help others.

(I'm coming into my mid-60s now. I've lived a LOT of life, have seen a lot things, have pursued intellectual interests, And the spiritual, like a blood thirsty hound!!
.. One of my majors in college was psychology, and I had an invitation extended to study philosophy (religion) for higher degree-- they offered me a teaching fellowship.
Unfortunately, life continued to have other plans, and I had to drop my education.)
