So for your question I got an interesting mix of cards!
Hermit, 7 of pents, queen of pents
Devil, hanged man, third eye chakra
Regret, surrender
Hope and self-worth

So I think J definitely wants you to be introspective (hermit) and maybe take time away from each other? As hermit is a very solitary and withdrawn card. 7 of pentacles and queen of pents makes me feel like he wants you to be more practical, and think ahead or plan things with the long-term in mind (7 of pents). Queen of pentacles is also a very nurturing, warm, affectionate and caring energy but she is also responsible, stable and has her career and finances in order. She is successful and comfortable.
Devil and hanged man makes me feel like he wants you to let go (hanged man) of something, some addictive or obsessive or toxic behaviours (devil) like smoking, drinking, gambling etc.
This also matches the regret and surrender oracle cards;
Regrets says; I know that I cannot change the past
Surrender; I can release my need to control
The devil is also a very controlling energy, so I think he wants you to take action to release, let go or surrender your need to control or change things, especially any regrets from the past etc.
