Even though you work hard, you need to step up any ambitions you may have. Are you doing the work that you really want to? Okay. I have one question: What was my spiritual lesson to learn with B? I thought he was interested in dating me, but apparently not. My intuition told me there were some concerns he had about me, but never asked and I also felt he was either intolerant or judgemental as well towards me. We never actually dated, but the person he chose to go out with, I'm thinking (I used to work with the girl), has all of those behaviors multiplied, and more that he worried about finding in me. Transiting Saturn will square his natal Venus next year, which makes me think he will see things for how they really are. I have been slowly moving on, but still feel a need for closure on this and maybe knowing the lesson will help. Thank you Becca.

Alright! I did a six card that I like to use and read in two ways. The bottom three (10oP, Star, 5oC) first represent Past/Present/Future, while the top three (3oW, Devil reversed, 4oS) act as clarifiers.

The second way I read this spread is that the center cards (Star, Devil reversed) are the core of the reading, the most important pair, while the other bottom two (10oP, 5oS) are what you see/feel and the top two (3oW, 4oS) are what you don’t recognize/haven’t felt yet.

My guess is B scratched a pretty powerful itch in your soul. The 10 and Star are a really strong past/present pairing that mean this wasn’t some sort of flash in the pan for you, but rather that you saw a future (a real one) and that now... the 5 of Cups is starting to take hold a bit more. There is a poverty now (romantic or otherwise) that wasn’t there before, and again, I think you recognize this more on a soul level than as an ego thing. The Devil reversed tells me there was more than a little negativity, and I think this Star/Devil (r) represents your intuition... but it almost strikes me as a fixation. Like, “Why would he dislike X or is it Y he is worried about,” which I think is an internalization that represents some self-love you may need to work on. Can’t quite say why, but my guide, Susan (she says hi) really is like, “Tell Spring to be nicer to her/himself.” So, for what that’s worth.

Because the core issue is two majors, my feelings on what your spiritual lesson is with B is learning 1) to trust yourself and vague outcomes as a blessing from the Universe, and 2) to unearth some latent issues you have with either men or relationships. I say this in a kind way (sorry if all this seems too blunt... I’m low-key exhausted). But this whole spread feels like a gift, or a “grandma gift” as we say in my friend circle. The gift that you don’t really want, but it is actually quite helpful and comes from a place of love. I say this, because of the 4 of Swords paired with the 5 of Cups. This situation with B didn’t take off, because the Universe wants you to slow down and realize not what you lost, but what you haven’t realized you have inside yourself yet. I think that this is a request to meditate and find parts of you that are still a little raw and need some love. Because of the 3 of Wands and 10 of Pentacles, I think B represented that in a tangible, “outer” way — but this spread seems to say that these things need worked on from a spiritual, “inner” way. He would have been a bandaid that fell off too soon and did little.

I get the impression you are an old soul, and that you have quite a lot of beauty in that soul... because you’ve lived a few lives. But I keep feeling the need to use the word “poverty.” Particularly, “poverty from service.” I think that in past lives and this one, you pour out love and work into others... but sometimes neglect yourself. Again, the grandma gift is to get you to start working on that and build up a wealth of love and service for yourself.
