Hi Athenia, Would you be willing to do an exchange with me? I was wondering what J’s current feelings/energy is regarding me recently? Hmmm.. so my thought with J is this. He does see you as girlfriend material. Very much so. I'd say you're the girl he likes the most right now. He's just in a really confused state of mind right now and doesn't know how to make sense of his feelings, nor how to stay in control - and this is a guy who likes to be in control. There's something about you that really throws him off of his equilibrium. Yes, he's still attracted to you - A LOT. But I see him distancing himself BECAUSE of that attraction, not because it's no longer there. He very much wants to get closer to you, understand you, build a camaraderie. He would feel extremely masculine with you on his arm - it would validate him in many ways. But there is something intimidating about you at the same time which pings his low self esteem. Maybe you're of a different socioeconomic status than him, maybe you're more attractive or outgoing, but he doesn't think he's in your league. He's thinks youre much better than him. So these feelings of self worth having him pushing himself away from you, in his mind it's better to just distance yourself from a situation then to start something and then fail.

I'd say give him a little bit of space but show that you still think/feel warmly of him. He'll probably come around in due time.

For E’s current feelings: man he is really into you. Definitely super attracted to you and thinks your HOT! I definitely see dating here and it looks like more in the future. I also see him daydreaming/romanticizing but maybe not quite laying his cards on the table yet. He seems to be holding back in that dept. Almost like the connection scares him a little. But yeah, this definitely looks like a soulmate connection of some kind. I sense this has potential of becoming more steady/exclusive in the future. He’s seems Star-struck to me.

He goes back and forth over whether you're attracted to him or not. Sometimes he knows, other times he just chalks it up to him imagining things. When you guys are talking and perhaps a flirty comment is insert into the convo, then I think the magnitude of your feelings for him hit him like a sack of bricks. But for some reason he just doesn't believe that you REALLY like him. I kind of get the impression and he has low self esteem, so he may not believe that anyone could invest that much sentiment in him willingly??

Hi, thank you - yes I can definitely see this. I’ve tried to delicately flirt without coming on too strong as our connection is already pretty intense (besides the fact I’m not one to aggressively flirt with any guy really.)

Oh good, I’m glad! Ok so for E I feel he’s almost taken a step back to process. It’s almost kinda like what you say for J actually. Like when they get hit really hard (emotionally/butterflies) it throws them off their game and they need some time to get a bit of their composure back. I feel he’s hiding the fact that he is super into you. Wants to move forward etc. I actually get that he will contact you. I think you are absolutely doing the right thing by giving him the chance now to pursue you. You’ve initiated as you said, but there has to be an equal give and take (mutual interest.) It’s about him taking the initiative to now go after what he wants.

Hey there, just wanted to give you a quick update: so funny enough I did end up spending the evening talking to a guy named D BUT it wasn’t the one I was actually hoping to see. The universe pulled a fast one on me LOL. So in a way, you’re reading was accurate.
