It's like he was expecting something further to happen, but it didn't. Did you spend a lot of money? It's almost like you did something he wouldn't do. He might have felt like he was competing with you on something. The last card is showing either a conquest or a defeat. With all the reversals, it's as though there wasn't much progress at all that happened to bring you closer together.

sorry for delay; if I don't get a response right away; I tend to come back and check; not on purpose of course. I just get caught up in other things.

So, for you something is definitely on the horizon in terms of work. A position or project that will allow you to predominately work solo not any other individuals. Which, will be nice and peaceful. THere will be rules and what not but you are trusted to do everything accordingly and with integrity. I think it will be something with decent amount of money. I think I feel, it has something to do with your book.

It's almost as though he felt like you didn't understand him (how he is). Do one of you live in a rut or set in their ways? The material card came up--he may have thought (if the two of you got together and fell on hard times, he wouldn't be able to support you). He sees you as a strong person and knowledgeable. The last two cards are showing that things will start changing for the better for you. There's another guy coming--honest, conscientious, mature, devoted, friendly, sympathetic, educated, fatherly and marriage material.

He was happy with how you looked--professional, earthy, and the outdoor type, but then it's showing that he may have thought you were sedentary. You may not have appeared welcoming to him. He might have thought you misrepresented yourself (your clothes, perhaps) in what station you are part of, i.e. level of wealth. He did see you as beautiful and pleasing to look at.

He was here from out of town;working for 2 weeks. He staying in the city and came to my town. 30 mins from the city. There nothing to do so we went to local dive bar and I think he was taken back by it. It was tacky. Conversation was not necissarily bad....I was attracted to him. He was mentioning meeting up with his coworkers/friends later that night; I can of just shut down at that point inside cause I was like if you are mentioning meeting up with them; then why even come out on a date? So, it only lasted like a hour or so..

It put a damper for me cause that night I was invited into the city with my friends to a concert and the guys were going to pay for everything (platonic group of guys and girls)
