Bump...This is what I pulled from various sources that resonated with me, but I'd love to hear others' interpretations, especially on the clarifying cards for how I get to The World. I like the way The World sounds as a future outcome, but wish I actually believed I could manifest this or knew how!
5 of Wands (Past)
"It can appear at times when you’re too busy watching what other people are doing instead of getting to work in building your own empire. If this sounds like you, use your jealousy as a compass, which highlights the things you want and go from there."
"In the past position, the Five of Wands means that you are dwelling on an argument or a falling out that happened long ago. While you didn’t realize it at the time, this incident greatly shaped the direction your life has taken. In order to grow and progress as a person, you must let go of this past conflict and forgive."
"This is likely a time for you to straighten out your own problems in your life or emotionally so that you don’t drag them into your next relationship. You want to be able to enter your next relationship with open arms and an open heart."
"...In the past position...it can mean that you have suffered strife, power struggles, contests, and competition. Look at the picture of two people stretched away from each other - it can indicate a struggle for success."
10 of Swords (Present)
"There are better things (and people) out there for you, you should go out and find them."
"...You are just going through a cycle of having to survive through desolation... Now you must figure out how to get out of this mess so that you can start anew."
"Let go of the fears that have led you to this negative thinking, the ones that helped to create your conscious choice that things would not work out."
"You need to take time to get to know yourself and find that inner love once again. If you do, you can finally attract the person that you are meant to be with once and for all."
"This Card can often suggest that you have come to the end of the road with your situation and like ‘the straw that broke the camel’s back’ you may no longer be able to cope. There is a possibility that all you have worried so intensely about has now come to be. It may no longer be in your head anymore but an actual reality you are being asked, or forced to face. It may be too much for you to take in, or deal with."
"It is very hard to see a way out of this and extra distress is heaped upon your existing burden, because even with the best will in the world, you are unable to do anything at all, which stresses you even further."
"It speaks of now having an opportunity to sort yourself out. Recovery depends on your letting go of and saying good-bye to the way you have been living and coping with things. Change is needed on every level for you, as what you have been doing up until now has not been working. You have been struggling to hold onto a way of life that has been systematically killing you. You must also let others in to help, you need to be open about your problems or issues and communicate your feelings. People cannot help if you keep them in the dark and try to cope alone."
"Life is changing for you and it is best to let go and trust that is all for the best. It indicates the death of a situation prior to the beginning of another...It is time to move on. Acceptance to the death and the changes it will bring is key here. Your thoughts about life have brought you to this place and new beliefs can take you out of it."
The World (Future)
"Often, The World comes up when a significant life’s ambition has been acted upon. Your thoughts have become things, and they have taken shape in real life. Your dream has been achieved, and you can now start to make new ones. The World card often makes an appearance after marriage or after a business goes from startup to sustainable. You must now get comfortable in your new life and begin making new goals."
"It is possible that you will start a new life in another country."
"While the path to the end is complicated and often torturous, you can be reassured that one day, you will stand on top of the World. You can end one journey and start a new one."
"The World means that your partner (or future partner) will provide you with all that you desire, such as more commitment. Their feelings are loving, and their motives are pure."
"In the future, you will find your meaning and purpose in life. You will end one difficult journey and begin a new life."
"Until now, you’ve been living without a clear goal or direction. Defining success can often be a difficult process, but with a clear endpoint you will be able to find your way to success and happiness."
"It often comes before travel and total fulfillment. When this card appears in your Tarot reading it means that your highest goals are soon to be achieved and it’s time for you to flourish."
"Despite the difficulties and hardships you’ve encountered, you stood strong and persevered. The seeds you have planted are now blooming and you are reaping the fruit of your labor. Everything has come together, and you are in the right place, doing the right thing, achieving what you have envisioned."
"If you don’t recognize this point of completion yet, the World card indicates that it won’t take long until you’ll reach that point. It encourages you to keep on going and to enjoy the journey."
"If you want to meet your soulmate, the World card suggests the relationship might be one that is grown from a distance (at least at first.)"
"When the World is present it says that things are definitely looking up and that what you want is at your fingertips, you simply have to reach out and take what you want."
"It can symbolize a prosperous end to an aspect in your life and new beginnings coming forth soon."
"The World also is a good sign of fertility in general. For women looking to get pregnant, it shows that the timing is also right."
"In the future position, the World tells you the need to keep your dreams alive. This is the green light that you need to do all things necessary to make the dream into a reality. The World can signify the end of a long and oftentimes tough journey, but it also signifies things coming together to ensure your happiness, success, fulfillment, and absolute contentment."
"In relationships, it can suggest a partner met while traveling or a partner from another part of the world. The relationship suggested by The World Card is mature, balanced, dynamic and extremely successful. The couple in this relationship are extremely compatible. This relationship is bound to be long-lasting and happy."
