I'm proud of you for 'being brave' and saying that you're going to tough this out, because you DO have 'what it takes', Vrdec. You can do this! It's not a picnic in the park-- But, you can DO This!!!

What you may be experiencing is an "enhanced" version of your normally 'backgrounded' Saturn opp Chiron.

Transiting Saturn has just 'finished' with your Return. That means you may have sensed that aspect moving from background to foreground.

You, and folks of your own generation, are within another 'hard' transit of Pluto conjunct Saturn. ... heh! "the WORLD" has been directly experiencing THAT one. "YOU are Not Alone!" We're in-it, to WIN it, right?

As with a lot of people right now, it's Saturn & Pluto more than anything. Natally, it is partly due to Saturn conjunct Venus and parallel Mercury in your birth chart, but those certainly are not aspects that require you to experience ongoing depression.

You're just about to complete your Saturn return (within days) which was immediately preceded by its conjunction to natal Venus and overlapped with that transit. Any doubts about the effectiveness of your efforts so far, or a loss of a sense of purpose can contribute to depression via feelings of isolation, failure, etc. If you are not where you imagined yourself being at this age, please know that such expectations don't determine success. They may have even been expectations inherited from or molded in reaction to negative messages from parents.

In addition, Saturn is still in transit parallel your natal Mercury at 20° south declination, but will be out of the aspect within days and won't return in 2021. So that is good news. This transit by Saturn has a way of turning your perspective dark and pessimistic if you don't stay practical and focused on learning and taking practical steps to accomplish day-to-day. Long term outlook can grow very dim during Saturn's harder transits to natal Mercury. Just know the transit will be over in about a week or so.

Because your Saturn return has been accompanied by these other transits and by major Pluto transits (which continue on) it may seem like the Saturn return has been especially heavy and lingers on. It's only partly Saturn, which is often a critical enough parent as it is.
