TLDR: based on these transits, is it wildly stupid or actually good for my partner and I to buy our first house? It will be primarily "his" house according to the paperwork/legally. I've been trying to research this on my own, but the charts/transits are too complicated for me and I'm not confident in my skills yet. I REALLY appreciate anyone's help with this. I see there is a T-square in his chart... My partner and I are trying to buy our first house. We're thinking it will be only him on the paperwork/mortgage, but I'm sure I'll have to sign something. Obviously, Mercury is retrograde but we have been looking for a long time. I'm trying to put it off as long as possible but another week may be too long to wait! I know Mercury Rx isn't a total deal-breaker and we'll just have to double-check everything, but as luck would have it I'll be out of the country for awhile soon so my partner may have to do everything on his own. To top it off, I'm approaching my Saturn Return in my 8th house, and his Sun and Venus are in my 8th - close to both Saturn and actually conjunct Mercury Rx right now! Are we crazy for not waiting? Or is this actually a good sign? (To boot - his north node is in the 4th, but Neptune is transiting there right now too. Ahh!) Here are his current transits: And mine: Side question: Are transits to the composite chart not useful? I can't find such a chart selection on any website. Is that not relevant for some reason? He has to be in a new house by September, so I feel like this confluence of planets in Aquarius/my 8th house is unavoidable. Okay, I'll admit it, I'm panicking!IP: Logged |

Very, very important when you buy a house: LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATIONAlso important: Are you asking if this investment would be a good decision financially? Or are you asking if this new location will geographically enhance you or your partner's success in achieving career goals or financial success? Or do you want to know if this new location would have a positive influence on the bond between you and your partner and the overall happiness of your union? IP: Logged |

Legally .. it is unlikely to be a good idea for you to help finance the purchase of a house that is recorded as belonging 100% to him.Astrologically ... this is a question which horary astrology (and Vedic astrology) is better equipped to deal with. In reality ... you need to consult a clairvoyant, rather than an astrologer. IP: Logged |

Graham gives you good advice. I have to agree that it's not a good idea to help finance a house if you are not recorded on the deed. IP: Logged |

Thank you both! I appreciate your advice on all fronts. I intend to take things slowly... Aries moon and Mercury can get me into trouble. IP: Logged |

I purchased my house during Mercury Retrograde. I read the contract and all paperwork carefully, which you should do anyway regardless of what Mercury is doing. Everything went smoothly and it was the best decision I ever made! That being said, it doesn't sound like you are married to your partner. If your name isn't on the paperwork as a second owner, then do NOT put any money towards the mortgage or any costs associated with buying the house. If you help pay the mortgage and the relationship ends, you will not get that money back, but your partner will be that much closer to paying off their house. There is literally no benefit for you. Do not act like a spouse until you become one. Your partner can pay the mortgage and you can pay the utilities. You are the equivalent of a roommate in terms of legal status so behave accordingly. Every single one of my friends who purchased a house with their partner has regretted it. Some of them had their names on the house deed while others didn't. It didn't matter in the end because none of them were married. There is no protection for unmarried couples. Keep your finances separate until you marry. Making a huge purchase together is incredibly risky with zero benefits to you. IP: Logged |

I think Graham is wise. As far as thattype reading there us a board that does exclusively those . Spica and Saille also read those. If you were to look at the arabic parts after getting a reading, that might help as well.
