I think instead of asking exactly “what career path is correct”, you could ask, “what guidance does the oracle have for this persons career and path”.

Ohhhh the cards that I pulled were hard for me to interpret, but I'll try my best and let me know what you think.

So a card fell out.

Messenger

This tells me you sending messages or maybe someone will be sending messages to another person. Overall this card talks about messages and letters, some form of communication that's being sent to other people. I will read this with the other cards I pulled.

Servant - consolation - Lord - Constancy

Servant indicates a job, or a duty that needs to be done. I will say this probably indicates you wanting a career or there is a career that is out there that you may want. Consolation shows you may not be entirely happy with maybe a job/career or this card can indicate a job/career that may give you some sort of comfort, but it's not what you really want. I could also see this card may say something may make you feel better after being disappointed regarding your career path. Lord is a little tricky as it means a boss or being in control. Unless you are wanting a job that involves you being a boss or a leader in some way, I would say you
will try to stay in control in your career path. Constancy is about something long term and not moving at the moment. I do wonder do you want a career that involve you being a boss? Lord + Constancy could indicate a leader that may be a long term position for you. Again, if not a leader I would say you want some sort of control(?) Maybe it means you wanting to control your career (if that make sense) so that it will be long term or permanent.

Wife - Widower - Wedding - Scholar

Hmmm... I've had problems with interpretating Wife card, it could either mean a few things.. maybe someone was in a relationship or committed to someone? Could be that someone wanted commitment, but someone either went through a loss or have guilt/regrets about something. Wedding indicates a relationship, maybe they feel this way because of wanting a relationship or this could indicate you two connection/relationship. Scholar is also tricky as maybe it means some sort of learning is involved. You two aren't like classmates right or know eachother from school? Scholar could indicate someone being experienced or knowledge? Or maybe it means something that's being hidden. 🤔

Interesting! I had to google the meaning of these cards. Our friendship has shifted into something vaguely romantic (wedding), maybe I find more happiness (wife) in this than he does (widower), because he is still mourning what was lost. I feel like scholar means he and I need to talk about this a lot more, or seek outside advice, because our dynamic has suffered somewhat in this transition. I am also a graduate student too if maybe that's what scholar is referring to? We didn't go to school together but my friend introduced us to each other when we were in high school

Thanks for the feedback. I'm sure some of the cards were confusing.

The servant card, you could be right. All I thought it meant was a job of some sort. I was thinking servant either means having a job with a boss because it indicates you working for someone.

The Lord card could be saying that you should be your own boss. So if that's what will make you happy, then you consider looking into having a job/career where you are in control.
