Backstory when her daughter was conceived she was cheating on him with multiple men and about a few weeks after he found about the cheating she was pregnant and there may be a chance that he may be the father he says

I do think he is the father.

Thank you so much for the reading sorry for delay they actually met through Facebook messaging but at one point when living together he was owning his own landscaping business and she did the books while he did the work he has not had any contact with the child since he was out of jail as when he went to jail back in 2018 she was already living with another man and does not want any involvement with the child as he feels she already has a dad ( he plans to once he gets sorted money wise to have a test done to determine paternity but when he told me how she ended up pregnant I had a feeling he was the father. Funny thing about money was that he does not know if she is actually going after him for child support because I remember he told me about how his ex step dad who is still in contact with her at times told him he is lucky she hasn’t gone after him for support and his mother has seen the child sometimes babysits for her as she believes the child is her grandchild. The recent jobs he has had have been under the table jobs so he has no idea about if he is owing any child support but recently he has left a job and is awaiting a check so we will then see if he does have to pay child support. But from what I am getting from him is that if he is the father he doesn’t mind paying for the child but does not want to be apart of her life to put confusion on the child.

We are both on the same page with children we both want them but it’s as though the universe is showing me it isn’t the right time yet. What’s strange is actually last night I told him what if it’s just not the right time at the moment as look at us financially we aren’t ready yet he kinda challenged me saying with my wording he felt that I didnt want a child mind he was drinking a little bit so I told him no it’s just not the right time when the time is right we will be blessed with one.
Truthfully though I cannot talk to him about this as I know he will take it all wrong but I feel with the way he did with his “possible daughter” (can’t say daughter as there has been no test done and he is uncertain) that he would do to our child
If the child is his that doesn’t bother me as it was before me I have been down this road when I was 18 becoming a step mom to a 3 going in 4 year old and was in his life until he was 7 going on 8 years old with ex who was my first long relationship (5 years)
I love him and do want to be with him but I do feel I really as writing this o really need to sit and think about having children with him because of the fact it’s a life long commitment and we would be bound for life through a child

Ah it’s okay it does that at time I am sorry to hear she didn’t turn out to represent but I do hope that something is coming your way around the corner and it makes your dreams reality on my end I am going to continue to think and really slow down this relationship as honestly I feel we are both moving very fast and it’s with love not logic and rushing too fast could lead to burnout with this so I just feel we both need to be more logical on it thank you again for letting me read for you
