I'm puzzled and this has happened to me before.

When I've asked about someone that I had been romantically interested in, I've gotten readings that were really about the person they ended up with and not me. For example, if I am A and are interested in B, the reading I get is for someone C getting together with B.

Did the reader not focus on me as being the interested person and instead asked what's coming romantically for B?

It has made me feel like I've wasted so much time thinking there could be something to wait for, but there really wasn't. Years ago I remember not waiting and then the opportunity had past me by and instead I ended up with someone I wasn't compatible with. Maybe this is my natal uranus in leo in the 7th quincunx my natal jupiter in Capricorn in the 1st.

So puzzling.

Hi SP,

This what I love about the cards, and how I think it predicts the future. The wording of the question is really important.

When you asked "about someone that I had been romantically interested in"
The cards are telling you about that person (that is your focus that person and not you)-and what they are currently interested in or will be interested in specifically in the present and future. Not about you and that person in the present and future or your past relationship. You need to word it in a way that the cards understand this is about you and your feelings towards B.

What you may really want to know is if that person has feeling for YOU currently, or if you and that person will connect the in the future...but even with that wording "connect in the future" I didn't indicate to the cards whether this connection is suppose to be romantically, or platonically. You will get different results asking for both questions.

You also mentioned " I am A and are interested in B." You're asking a question you already know the answer to. Your feelings for B. If you're confused about your feelings for B, say it outloud so the cards can fully understand what you are thinking.
If this is what you really want to know...then you can ask "how will my feeling for B manifest ,or does B have romantic feeling for me? or how does B feel about me? I would go with the last question as the cards will tell you whether they see you as a friend or see you as a crush/romantic feelings.
The reader is just the messenger and hopefully they understand the meanings of the cards well enough to pass on that message correctly.

Last night I looked back to the readings I received on here from 2014 going forward (haven't finished). I noticed that some just described how he would take care of his partner (maybe that was early on) and then things would change as another reader saw the relationship as having only a couple of high points and then it would be restrictive (not so happy). That happened to one girl I knew years ago...they went dancing, etc. and then after they got married, it all stopped. I remembered visiting her at their apartment (her new husband was a college student) and they had Chef Boyardee spaghetti o's or something like that cooking on the stove. She wasn't much for cooking and isn't to this day..

Yes, there were some clues in past interactions with him that would have been clarified by asking--what are his feelings for me? Intuitively, though, but early on I picked up him mentioning me to people..that changed, though, when he hooked up with the girl he is currently with. What's interesting is what Laura came up with on here, and I then I asked about a different guy, but that it could be another guy that popped up recently, though...which makes sense with what you read about multiple interests popping up for me a couple of months or so ago. I think he thinks about me when things go south, but otherwise not. Seems to be the case with all of the ones around me (energy only) right now. My mom sleeps a lot more these days and doesn't have much interest in the things around her. The last conjunction I have of transiting Pluto to my natal Saturn occurs the middle of next month, so I'm thinking this may have to do with her and things changing.

Saturn's transit in Aqua goes direct this month and will be closer to squaring my natal Neptune when the last conjunction of pluto to my natal saturn occurs..so I know there are changes coming as well as pettiness from others.

What I found interesting, though, about this guy was that if someone tells him something nice or positive about a person, he becomes suspicious of the messenger as well as the person who is being flattered. If someone tells him something negative about a person, he stands behind them, defends them and likes them more. He does seem to believe the gossip he hears, though, without wanting to verify that what he hears is correct. I'm sure the people around him have tapped into that and there's most likely some manipulation going on.

Thank you for listening. I know I will be glad when transiting Saturn finishes its transit to my natal Neptune and I can put all of this behind me--thinking all these guys will be gone, too. I joined a club in August, that is part of an interest/work that I currently have, so I'm hopeful for new possibilities/friendships there. They don't seem to be connected to people in the group that is currently around me and are instead positive, motivating people.
