Death + King of CupsTo put it simply, based on these cards I feel that deep down he knows it's over and he is repressing/avoiding (?) his emotions. Any other thoughts? IP: Logged |

👍🏽 I’d agree. Doesn’t have to mean repressing, rather keeping them under wraps/control - he feels loss.IP: Logged |

Thank you! 😊 Keeping them under control actually fits better IP: Logged |

If that's how you first interpreted it, I say trust your intuition, javaweb. From tarotheaven.com: 'Scorpio is the fixed water sign running through every single card in the suit of cups. It culminates at the King of Cups. All kings symbolize the finality of the suit. Often having many kings in one reading means the end of a project, relationship or situation. But no one says Death, quite like the King of Cups. Only when we are truly in touch with the wide spectrum of our emotions do we finally realize what the King of Cups is really offering us. It is through the acknowledgment of every one of our own emotions, which all people have that we complete a cycle. These emotions are prevalent whether dormant in the unconscious, subtly played out in the subconscious or in direct contact with the conscious mind.' Remember that Death also means new beginnings, metamorphosis. He likely feels lost like vansio said, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing for you, even if the relationship has turned sour. It just means there's someone much better just around the corner and your romantic life will only get better from now on Are you dealing with someone with heavy scorpio/water placements by any chance?
