My 92-year-old grandfather changed his will to favor his son (essentially putting him and his son in charge of our home and all the money). My grandmother had no idea she was removed as an authority (essentially only my grandfather can legally make changes, even without her consent). My mom and I live with my grandparents and take care of my grandmother. With our help, she is getting an attorney to try and get her rights back to change the will since 50% assets are hers, even if that means going to court against her husband. She is in a wheelchair. We fear my grandfather and her son will try and have us evicted or call the police to get us arrested by making up a lie. We are living in fear. Can anyone let me know what will happen in this situation? Will my grandmother’s lawyer help make a change or will my grandfather and uncle plan something sinister? Any insight is appreciated.

Thank you!

Sunkissed ... You live in New York, New York?
Besides a lawyer, CALL for some Women who are active in the Women's Rights Movement in your State and area. Your City just elected its first woman Governor: Kathy Hochul. The City Council is about to become an 'all woman' council.

Even if your are not in the city-proper, CALL the women's advocacy groups!! Women lawyers.

If this story were to pick up any local media interest, you may have some STRONG women (AND men) in the background become interested in getting your Grandmother some Justice?! (Even if it's done quietly for her.)

In a 'just in case' carefulness for you and your mother,
also do some research on where you can go in case 'the worse scenario' loomed larger, and you needed to find another place to stay. Abundance of cautions... No harm in doing some research and KNOWING (making a general plan) what you and your mom will do in the event you need another place to stay/live. There are Women's Resource Centers where you might get help and counsel.

Many larger USA Cities have a "211 Community Resource Line" -- Dial 211 on phone, and have pen and paper ready to receive info.

Your County's "Legal Aid Society" might be able to help with some deeply discounted or pro-bono legal assistance. .. Some lawyer groups specially set aside hours of resources to help Seniors in need. To search for those, in the search bar, type the name of the County in which you currently reside followed by the words 'Legal Aid Society'.
If you have Voice Assist, just ask your phone.

Your Grandmother is wheelchair bound?
Call your agencies and get some attention for her.

He's trying to harm her, financially!

This is outrageous. .. And, it fits the general mundane astrology trends whose energetics have emboldened those (in the news) that have 'Authoritarian Personality Disorders'. {bullies}

Compassion Groups
Right now there are also a mix of 'strong' Humanitarian and Compassion energies.

If your mother is involved in a Church,
get ahold of her pastor/leader. Hopefully there could be some folks step in to help with whatever needs that could arise? Staff usually 'know people, that know people.'

Intellectually be prepared to see any possible worst outcomes -- just so you and your mom have 'that part of it' processed.
"Being shocked but not 'surprised'" is better than not having held the foggiest idea what you 'would' do for yourselves in a crunch. Scratch the ground for orgs that help. AND
Hold the strong probability that what they are doing isn't fair and this would come before this Land's Judges/Justices.
Hold 'inside yourselves' a strong Hope and Expectation of Justice! Expect Good Things to come of all of this.

Think of Questions for yourselves like--
If Courts would decide to ?sell the house? then What would [you and your Mom] do?

If Courts say your Grandmother could benefit from being in an assisted living apartment (separate from Grandfather and son), then THAT could be a Fresh Start---- Why hang around them????
Perhaps you could still stay? (I don't know)

Very much though, you and your Mom have to 'figure out' Where you're going to live {in case of worst, BEFORE Better}? ... I ONLY say that in a protective way towards you women. I KNOW how tough and expensive things are right now {realty}. .. Get signed up for HUD Housing (even before you need to). The waiting lists may be LONG in your area if Affordable Housing has NOT been a priority.

So yahh...the situation you're in may be dire but let's hope only in the mind, and not actually concrete reality {at least not yet}. Getting a Lawyer involved may BE what you need.

Don't forget the Women's resources and support centers. They are 'there' for YOU.

Don't let the males get you down.
Keep Strong, together.

Be in state of readiness for anything
EXPECT Best Outcomes

Much Love

Amen!!

Madeleine Albright (former US Secretary, Diplomat), died recently. I watched some of the funeral, different women gave testimony about how SHE was there to help them (break some glass ceilings). HELPED Women achieve their hard-won goals, dreams.

She was quoted once as saying,
“There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.”

*laughing* ... (gently).

There really 'should' be some women (in places of influence) who upon hearing of the injustice your Grandmother faces, might identify with your Grandmother's plight.
