I'm, lessee, German and Scandinavian mostly, but with little bits of British, Irish, Scottish, Flemish, and African thrown in ( you can't see the African part at all, its only in the blood cells ).------------------ "The only devils in this world are those running around in our own hearts. That is where the battle should be fought"-Gandhi IP: Logged |

Well, I'm really just a generic Caucasian, the most Irish thing about me is that I like Celtic music. On the other hand, I am good at being an underdog (or at least I have been) and as we all know. underdog-ism is an Irish specialty!!! "They say that skies of Lebanon are burning Those mighty cedars bleeding in the heat They show the victors on their television Women and children dying in the street "Now we're still at it in our own place Still trying to make the future From the past Still trying to carve tommorrow From a tombstone But hey, don't listen to me This wasn't meant to be no sad song I've sung to much of that before Right now I only want to be with you When the morning dew comes falling... "I wanna take you to the island And trace your footsteps in the sand And in the evening, When there's no-one around We make love To the sound of the ocean...." That's the spirit of the Celts there.

Hi everyone..*smile*I currently live in Poway, California which is actually part of San Diego. It's a beautiful place to live, extremely diverse and lots of friendly people. Unfortunately, my immediate area was hit hard by the recent fire. The neighborhood hit the hardest is about two miles from my house. I have a Pet Sitting service and Scripps is part of my territory. Several of my clients lost their homes. Thought you might like to see some of the amazing pictures. I saw walls of flames that seemed to reach miles into the sky. http://www.scrippsranch.org If you click on the picture on the first page there, you will see what I mean. IP: Logged |

Something else some of you might find interesting. I have lived in the San Diego area for about 15 years. Growing up I lived all over the US. The place where my family is from, where I was born, attended part of High School, went to College, and will be returning to next summer is called The San Luis Valley. It is in the South Central mountains of Colorado. It is north of Santa Fe New Mexico. Taos is part of the valley, if you are familiar with that. The Valley is said to be very mysterious. Actually, it is known as "The Mysterious Valley". So, it is the number one spot in the US for reported UFO sightings, the first reported incidences of animal mutilations, and many sightings of a legendary devil..and even more..here are some links. http://www.cyberwest.com/cw06/v6alwst1.html http://tmv.us/site/San_Luis_Valley/Myths_Legends.html http://archive.anomalies.net/cni-news/CNI.0541.html IP: Logged |
