I can imagine that everyone on this site is definatley opposed to war just as I am. But not everyone in the world can realize the benefits of being at peace with one another and the harmony we could all bring the universe in a joyous way by bringing love into the world and not war.But what should we do in the mean time while everyone is out there with their guns and bombs and weapons of mass destruction?

The news casts all say that New York and other cities could expect an attack anytime by a chemical bomb, and to go out and plaster our windows with plastic.

I live in NY (outside the city) and I am scared to death. I try to bring positive powerful thoughts and send them out to the world, but should I hope that we kill them befor they kill us?Should I hope our government decides to go to war with anther country in hopes to protecet ours-elves?
I was just wondering how everyone else felt about all this.
What can we do in the mean time to protect ours-elves when love and light aren't working?
I feel abit ashamed. It never opens someones eyes until it hits close to home, and many other countries for many years are poor and have been dying by the thousands from war and starvation. I've always been sadened by this, but now, when it's "so close to home" my feelings have intensified and gone in every diretion

I don't know. I guess today was just a crazy day for me, and this was a crazy post, but I felt I could get this off my chest here. Thanks for all who listened.I know I have rambled on and on and on and .....

Hello Imaiden

I can't shake the feeling that love and light always work. I think there just have to be enough.

Imaiden, I totally understand your fear. A few days ago it was announced that our local harbour will be a NATO marine base, which suddenly brought the treat of war to my doorstep, too. I'm thinking about this all the time, I'm really, really afraid.

Yes, it's definitely a very scary time, but if we just sit back and do nothing, then perhaps all of our fears will come true. We all have to take a positive stand and send out prayers of love, peace and understanding to the world.

Our world has seen so much destruction and deterioration, but good always prevails. Think of Hitler. He did not succeed in the end. We must send out love and prayers. We must be strong and united about this.

A thought came to me a few years ago when I was faced with evil in a very close relative's life. The thought was: Love is a universal force that cannot be reckoned with. Love is a powerful emotion that can be channelled for the higher good. Harness that love and evil will be overthrown.

Hi Imaiden76, aquamoon, stella polaris & Sunmeadow Glades.

Imaiden76, what a great question and, all others, what great answers.

For my two cents...I am a firm believer that fear does not come from God. In fact, I believe fear is one of the strongest tools that the darkness/evil has. That said, I am TRYING to harness my fears so I free up this energy to redeploy it into my prayers of peace and love as I believe prayers are the spring broard for MIRACLES.

Ever wonder why during World War II Hitler's northern advance stopped in France and did not progress into the UK?

I agree with Sunmeadow that Love is a Universal foce that cannot be reckoned with and that good always prevails, if our white light energy is strong. So for me I am struggling for calm awareness by eliminating my fears.

Meanwhile, I will send all of you my love, prayers that you and your love ones stay safe and hope our united front of Love stops this chaos.

A Learning Angel

Thanks All!

Your absolutely right.
It brings a comfortably wonderful feeliing
that no matter what happens, weahter(sp?) now or in a thousand years, good shall always prevail.
I guesse we can all just hope and pray and KNOW that good will happen now!
I realize I have to control my fears other wise they will bring thems-elves about.

It sure is tough though! But nevertheless, worth all the hard work it ensues!
Thanks for all the positivity! My day is already beginig to look brighter.
Have to go now, time to spread that feeling around! My first thoughts of love and hope are coming out to you Stella Polaris. And thank you Angel and Aqua moon and sunmeadow glades!

The funniest thing about this whole situation is that all throughout school we are taught that war would never be fought in the US.. The US as a whole was on a high horse and needed to be taught a lesson.. Pretty ironic isn't it? I just thought I would add that for a moment of reconing...
With love, Jesica

Well hopefully Jesica we shall all get to learn our lessons in a less painful manor. The US horse doesn't seem so high anymore.
In the mean time I guess we should all try to fill the world with love and light and power positive thought as suggested above.

We all need to connect with our higher s-elves as well.
And our soultwins.

I shall re-unite with mine in due time.
Love and light to all!

So maybe this is something good that came out of the terrible event of Sept.11...That now you share the same fear as people living closer to a conflict. And that fear make you take a stand, take action, work and pray for peace...
I was watching a program from Iraq yesterday, and I just feel so sorry for people there. They know, that this war will only take away from them more people they love. It will make it harder to get medicine for a child that is ill, the road to the hospital will have been destroyed, not to mention the hospital itself..Their fields will be bombed, so there's no way they can even feed themselves. And a poor population will never have the strenght to owerthrown the dictator...

You are absolutely right Stella.

Now is the time for all of us to harness these fears into positive energy and pray for those who are really in need. And for occurances not to happen.
Hope for peace the world over.
Well, I have LOTS of work to do then!
Marcie

I agree to you all.

The last few days I feel as if my intuition was sharper, and spontaneously I start to meditate anytime and anywhere.
I
I'm sure our higher-selves are now pushing us to decide, to act, to speek loud, to spread light, to face our fears and, by facing them, to take away their strenght.

I'm sure we will grow, we will re-unite, all of us (no matter which way we chose, prayer, meditation, positive thinking, going to churches...), and we'll make the positive critical mass to push our dearest Planet to the higher level. (I don't think literally)

Keep smiling...

Fajita, sweetie, I'd join you in an eye blinck if I could.
We are freezing, although the temperatures are not so low. The point is, we have this stubborn wind coming from north, and I can't comfort my bones it would actually end.

Do you think there trying to scare us, by warning to protect ourselves, in order for us to support the war even more?

I believe that fear feeds hate, and the only way to stop this wicked circle is to think pink, and be aware we're all beings of light, even those people who forgot that (we should remind them by giving them this light).
I admit that thinking pink in an actual threatning situation would be a test for all, but why not deciding the positivity?

I've had to literally take breaks from the news every once in a while--- we need to balance our observation of how the world is with the vision of what it could be.

YEs! Without sounding paranoid do not let the media control you! I live in the USA and I KNOW they probably put subliminal messages on the tv! They may think they are trying to do us good but I don't want them!

I agree!
And, especially after I've seen how many people all around the world took part in Saturday's demonstrations, oh, my heart smiled...it is a oneness in disguise!

I think it's about time we quit eating what we were served, and start cooking something nutritious we'll enjoy!
