Hello Knowflakes.First of all I would like to say Happy New Year to everyone. I had a good time. For New Years Eve, I went with my mum and sister to do some American Indian chanting for peace. What do you think the main thing we need to do, or need the most, to achieve world peace. My opinion on that would be first and foremost, we need to set the right mass consciousness for humanity and send it out to the cosmos. That in turn will send out a ripple which will in turn affect everybody and help them achieve enlightenment. That's my opinion. What's yours? ------------------ Don't Underestimate the human race. I think it's as simple as making world peace our goal; the question then becomes how to convince everyone to make this their goal. Clearly, this has not the goal of many power-hungry historical leaders. What do you think?IP: Logged |

I think you are right! I do not know how we could get EVERYONE to have the same goal since some people could care less, some people thrive on violence, some people care a little but have greater concerns like the stock market or something. Believe me, I am always trying to get people to think like me What is your sign? I am and totally down for the brotherhood of man (and woman) ------------------ Food is the only art that nourishes! Hi Fajita, I am also , and having read several of your posts, I can see our "aquarius connection." I think you are right on about some people simply not caring about world peace, but complacency is less dangerous than negative actions / intentions. In other words, I believe there are people who are not only ambivalent about peace, but there are also those who take actions against it. World peace would mean relinquishing power, and who wants to do that? That's a problem. One solution is to convince all people of the value of world peace. See, the most powerful individuals / countries / militaries may have a difficult time seeing the value in world peace. Isn't that silly? How basic is that? World peace is desirable. One simple truth that, if embraced, would change the world. Can we talk about that? Why is world peace desirable? Especially for powerful entities who would have to give up power for it to be possible? IP: Logged |

Hey my fellow Yea, let's chat about it more. World peace SHOULD be desirable by everyone because those higher-ups could sit with their riches and not have to worry about anyone taking it..but would they lose thier money if they lost their power? Because I don't think people will let go of power if they will lose money. Money and greed will do strange things to people, even just a little! So if we could somehow show everyone that this money & power is not everything and that there is more to life... To learn this people have to want to learn and you cannot make someone see something until they are ready. So how to get them ready? YOu know sometimes I wish I could do something really cool (for lack of better words) to show people that there is so much more out there besides the pettiness we bother ourselves with. Like if I could show them the light of God or some awesome truth and everyone would just realize wonderful things. I am having a hard time expressing myself because I need to take a nap. I will come back later for some more rapping with you
