Wow!A few years ago, on one of those chintzy talk shows, psychics were giving their predictions. And one gal said that the world's not going to blow up or anything, but she did see about 1000 years of peace. I thought, "Well, Revelations says the same." Then she says among other predictions, "Bill Clinton will be elected to a 3rd term after leaving office." I dunno, 1000 years of peace? ------------------ "The reason why birds can fly and man cannot is simply that they have perfect faith; for to have faith is to have wings." ~JM Barrie IP: Logged |

I don't see that repeal going through. ------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Hey BugginAre you an equal opportunity hater? Does your hate extend to Islam too? How about the Catholics? Methodists? Quakers? Atheists? Any other governments you hate, aside from the American government, I mean? jwhop IP: Logged |

jwhop, buggin didn't say anything about hate. You seem to infer, more often than not, that when someone is critical of another person or entity than that means they hate that person/place/thing. I wonder why you are so fixated on this hate thing. IP: Logged |

Harpyr"I wonder why you are so fixated on this hate thing." Because the hate just rolls out of all you folks on the left in waves. By the way Buggin, that's not Bushie, it's President Bush, except to the terminally rude. jwhop

yeah, many times to criticize something comes from a want to see it improved because of a love for that thing... many people are more critical of the people they love because they want them to realize their potential, i am more critical of this country because i know it can be GREATER than it already is...and it can't be denied that bush's religious affiliation helps secure the vote of similar folks-- every polititian has a group of people that are a shoe in for them in the voting booth and i will probably criticize president bush until my face turns blue, because i just don't really like his political agenda, overall, and will probably call him things a lot worse than bushie-- but i dont hate him, and although you may consider a failure to use his proper name a sign of disrespect, i think what is more significant is whether i would show him personal human respect were i to meet him face to face, and the answer to that is yes IP: Logged |

I'll second that emotion, trippysht (whose nick I just love!)...I'm not a fan of the Bush politics/regime, I will criticize them and him. He has put himself in a position where such criticism is invited. But I would also offer him basic human respect. Hey, I don't want the Bushmeister for a second term, let alone a 3rd! But...since we're supposing what might happen...then let's please bring back Bill and return to a time when we were all fat and happy. IP: Logged |

thanx trillian, ive had this nick for many years, i just can't part with it carlo lol fat and happy hahahaha but no, i dont think we need more bill, although i enjoyed him tremendously,- some call him an egomaniac, i call him a riot! - i dont think he can handle the international relations this day and age demands... we don't need a corporate bully designing our foreign policy, but we don't need an international yes-man either.
